@chrissmithblog Well the keywords for your headline are really important. So you would want to add something more descriptive, like what kind or type of marketer are you? But yes, everyone has a chance to rank high on Linkedin :) Thanks so much Chris for stopping by today!
@LewysDavies1 Yes Lewys that is really good, especially for that keyword! Thanks for stopping by and good to hear you found my video tip to be helpful. I hope you will stop by again soon!
@MrFortunesaver Thanks David appreciate you taking time to view my video tip. I just returned from being out of town and catching up on things. Hope you will stop by again soon. Have a great day!
Thanks for sharing Lynn - Since my name is not a common one I also ranked number one spot without any effort. My profile (employer) is no longer correct and when changed will no doubt determine what current followers may fall off so we will see as the changes I believe will be drastic.
@carljra Appreciate you taking the time to check this out and good to hear you ranked number one. When you change your employer on your profile, be sure the position and description still contains your current keywords, this should help to maintain your positioning. And as I always recommend, test, test and see what works best.
This was really interesting, Lynn. I started checking immediately, and the keyword I though I would do well for landed me on page 3. The keyword that I thought was too competitive and had no chance landed me on page 1.
I tweaked my keywords and I am interested to see how that pans out. Thanks for the info!
@bousquetcmp Thanks Daphne and so good to hear you tried out your keywords. It really is all about testing different variations to see how it ranks you and then see how much more interaction you get as a result in moving up in the ranks. Congrats! and thanks for checking this video out.
It's Amnuai Lynn. Thanks for sharing this. Unlike you my name is not that common so it was easy for me to rank but not the same for our village company. For the keyword "thai silk" we ranked 5 out of only 10 but we don't have many followers. You mentioned asking for recommendations (I have 4 but have never asked for them - too shy) is it possible to do this for a company?
@daoinisan Thank you Amnuai for checking out this video tip. You can actually add your company on Linkedin along with your products or services. Those products or services can be recommened by your network, connections or contacts. You can also be sure your profile is properly optimized with your keywords. And of course have an eye catching, attention grabbing headline. I will check out your Linkedin profile.
My name is Chris Smith and I'm in Network Marketing...... Do I have any chance?
