Maastricht Carneval 2008 - Scottish bagpipes band

Waarom het het winkelcentrum zo heet, weet ik niet (misschien omdat het tussen de markt en het vrijthof ligt). Maar ze spelen daar omdat het daar zo sjiek klinkt.

I have enjoyed this music, thanks for sharing. Please also excuse my ignorance. I need to ask, why "not everyone in the band" wears that "seemingly" a large cloak? Is it a sign of rank? Thanks.

The uniform we used with Carneval is just a dress for Carneval. Our real uniform is the one from the Netherlands Police. Because we can not drink in that uniform we have a uniform were people do'nt recognise us.See also te Youtube films of: Drums & Pipes of the Maastricht Police. Enjoy,
