is there positive side and negative side from the conections of the bulb? i connected mine and it doest turn on, but i had to rib the wires and connect them to the bulb because the stock ones were weld in to the bold connections

hello, ive been experiencing problems on my LCD monitor its a hanns G hw191d, its been with me for 3 years now, so my problem is there is some kind of lighting inside my lcd that is turning on and off very fast, it is like a flickering flourescent lamp, is my problem caused by this backlight btw??

What is the unit you use to power the backlight during testing? Is it something you've built or purchased?
