Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Revelation 2:20 (KJV) Beware of these Jezebels who are both arrogant and prideful, who are nothing more than self-appointed false prophetesses, who lust for fleshly indulgences, who condone spiritual compromise as well as moral compromise, and who pervert the Word.
As she struts around with her nose in the air, telling us how wonderful she is now and how she is not a sinner, makes me want to puke. She also flies around in private jets and lives in luxurious mansions, then snipes at anyone who questions that, even tho among them would apparently be Jesus himself, who wrote: it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God. I guess she believes she is so hot she can ignore that.
The quotable False Teacher Joyce Meyer, During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go legally because of our sin. He paid the price there, no plan was too extreme, and Jesus paid on the cross and in hell. Jesus paid on the cross and in hell. False Teacher Joyce Meyer argues that Jesus death on the cross was insufficient for salvation and that His sacrificial death for our sins was completed in hell not on the cross which is another gospel, a false gospel.
To be fair, there are Bible verses that some denominations interpret as evidence that Jesus descended into hell or hades between the cruxificion and resurrection. But even if Jesus did this, the question arises of how Jesus could have paid the "price" for our sins, if the price was death, since we still suffer and die. If the price for unrepentent sin is eternity in hell, then there still seems to be a prob, since he at most spent 1.5 days there. Yet few apologists ever address this quandry.
@nabuk3 Jesus did ascend into hell 4 3 days to free the people in hell becuase to be be fair they didn't have acces to Jesus or the word because they died b4 He came. B4 Jesus there was the law that man had to follow but could never live up to fully because of sin they also had to bring sacrifices every time they sinned. So Jesus had to turn into sin and die for us. He was the ultimate sacrifice thata why we dont have to kill an animal everytime we sin. they death he talks about is spriitual
The quotable False Teacher Joyce Meyer, Im going to tell you something folks, I didnt stop sinning until I finally got it through my thick head I wasnt a sinner anymore. But the Bible says that Im righteous and I cant be righteous and be a sinner at the same time. Joyce Meyer teaching is deceptive, while one can be declared righteous through Christs righteousness and be a sinner at the same time, she perverts the Word of God which says, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves.
The quotable False Teacher Joyce Meyer, Words are containers for power, But you cannot throw out positive confession, and you cannot throw out all the faith teachers, and you cannot throw out positive thinking. And you cannot get rid of those kinds of things because they're in the Bible from one end of it to the other. Joyce Meyer advocates these Word-Faith techniques that promote positive thinking, positive speaking and positive affirmations to manipulate and create our own realities.
