Territorial divisions of Poland by Russia, Prussia, and Austria that progressively reduced its territory until it ceased to exist as a state. In the First Partition (1772), a Poland weakened by civil war and Russian intervention agreed to a treaty signed by Russia, Prussia, and Austria that deprived it of half its population and almost one-third of its land area.
@sousique In the Second Partition (1793), Poland was forced to cede additional lands to Prussia and Russia. To quell a nationalist uprising led by Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Russia and Prussia invaded Poland and divided the remnants of the state among themselves and Austria in the Third Partition (1795). Only with the establishment of the Polish Republic in 1918 were the results of the partitions reversed.
@sousique What does this video of a Russian musician singing about the Russian victory have anything to do with Tadeusz Kosciuszko and how many times you people got partitioned. c'mon are you serious? Get a life. And start living in the modern world for that matter.
Russia, like Germany, hoped to make territorial gains at Poland's expense, but was left without an effective means of doing so. Early in 1919, the Polish-Soviet War had broken out over border disputes between the two countries. After initial Soviet victories, the Poles counterattacked successfully, and a compromise peace was reached in March 1921, leaving Soviet desires for border revision largely unfulfilled.
@sousique The war also left the Soviets eve further isolated from Britain and France.[6] This common isolation and interest in revision in Poland led to a naturally sympathy between Russia and Germany At the Tenth Party Conference in 1921, the Soviets settled on a policy of pursuing opportunities for trade with the Western powers, which could supply badly needed industrial materials.
@sousique The joint German-Soviet concerns first led to signing, in May 1921, of a treaty between the two nations under which Germany recognized the Soviet regime as the only legitimate government of Russia, and agreed to suspend relations with all other groups which still claimed power. This agreement paved the way for future cooperation between the two.[
in soviet &t nazi version was completely same things.
In addition to stipulations of non-aggression, the treaty included a secret protocol dividing Northern and Eastern Europe into German and Soviet spheres of influence, anticipating potential "territorial and political rearrangements" of these countries. Thereafter, Germany and the Soviet Union invaded their respective sides of Poland, dividing the country between them.
Part of eastern Finland was annexed by the Soviet Union after the Winter War. This was followed by Soviet annexations of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Bessarabia.

During the reign of Empress Catherine the Great (1762-96), Russia intensified its manipulation in Polish affairs. Prussia and Austria, the other powers surrounding the republic, also took advantage of internal religious and political bickering to divide up the country in three partition stages. The third partition in 1795 wiped Poland-Lithuania from the map of Europe.
@Vald77r Tты умеешь читать но ты не понимаешь что ты читаешь как Русски, "Независимость от кого?" LOL:D
потому что там под оккупацией жили Поляки и имели на эти территориa ипотеку ... ипотека ...ты знаешь что то такоe ???... право владения???наследование??? Tо знали люди у вас "avant Lenin",германским агентом.

@Vald77r Several secret articles were attached. These articles allowed the exchange of Russian and German nationals from the other sides partition of Poland, redrew parts of the central European spheres of interest dictated by the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, and included an agreement to suppress any "Polish agitation".
@Vald77r When Wehrmacht advanced against Poland, Germans took control of the Lublin Voivodeship and eastern Warsaw Voivodeship, territories which according to the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact were in the Soviet sphere of influence. To compensate the Soviet Union for this loss, the treaty's secret attachment transferred Lithuania.
@Vald77r The Soviet–Polish Non-Aggression Pact was an international treaty of non-aggression signed in 1932 by representatives of Poland and the USSR. The pact was unilaterally broken by the Soviet Union on September 17, 1939, during the Nazi and Soviet invasion of Poland.

It's partially because of the existence of USSR that Hitler gained his power. His political strength was built mainly on the anti-communist views. People treated left-wing activists as a serious danger so they voted for someone who promised to protect them from the "red scums".
nope, west didnt help hitler, cause it was a fervent anti 'france-england' etc fighter.. plus if communism had a way to solve the german economy problems, they had from 1919 to 1931 to do it.. just a decade or more......

@Vald77r The Three Partitions, 1764-95

@Vald77r как Царь убитый убитый руками своих подданных, конец его наследства от Царицы Екатерины новые территории из всемирной войны должен отдать потому что проигрывает, отдает забранным. Словно что Советская Связь то продолжение Царизма? NO TO JE PAARADA:)

@Vald77r Several secret articles were attached. These articles allowed the exchange of Russian and German nationals from the other sides partition of Poland, redrew parts of the central European spheres of interest dictated by the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, and included an agreement to suppress any "Polish agitation".
sousique 1 year ago
@Vald77r When Wehrmacht advanced against Poland, Germans took control of the Lublin Voivodeship and eastern Warsaw Voivodeship, territories which according to the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact were in the Soviet sphere of influence. To compensate the Soviet Union for this loss, the treaty's secret attachment transferred Lithuania.

@Vald77r The Soviet–Polish Non-Aggression Pact was an international treaty of non-aggression signed in 1932 by representatives of Poland and the USSR. The pact was unilaterally broken by the Soviet Union on September 17, 1939, during the Nazi and Soviet invasion of Poland.

firstly I want to talk about this song and singer.I think song is awesome and lev levchenko is the great tenor.I do not understand "Brainwashed".If you do not know II.world war, please read the written source. If CCCP had not been, hitler would have destroyed all world.thanks CCCP and stalin.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
It's partially because of the existence of USSR that Hitler gained his power. His political strength was built mainly on the anti-communist views. People treated left-wing activists as a serious danger so they voted for someone who promised to protect them from the "red scums".
Leibht 2 years ago
Hitlera Americans sponsored. Such as the ancestor presidents bush and bush jr., which also have launched wars
palifiko 2 years ago 5
dont you think that germany could easily have turned into communist if west didnt need hitler. though live on with your servilism, pole.
protfl 2 years ago
nope, west didnt help hitler, cause it was a fervent anti 'france-england' etc fighter.. plus if communism had a way to solve the german economy problems, they had from 1919 to 1931 to do it.. just a decade or more......
