This song has a lot of meaning. I listen to this and picture my horses and I in the pasture and running along the side with them. They have freed me from the pain in my life. Horses are amazing and truely are therapy...they take you away to the special place.
I remember, seeing Sheila at the age of 7 at one of our family's Christmas party's and being amazed at both her voice and her intelligence. Loved watching your career progress and you grow. Love you, your fan and cousin, Megan.
Transporting song, transporting lyrics, transporting "communication." The video though is distractive: jerkily editing, building rapport with the Artists, then yanking you away, rapport again? I found distractive for what that's worth. And I have to ask: who decided to have the Artists wear flannel shirts? To be thematically consistent with horse-back riding? Anyway THE POWER OF THEIR MESSAGES comes through. I would have stream-lined but, again, what do I know? That's just my opinion.
Heard this duo on NPR's Mountain Stage and, even as this song's "he loves me, he loves me not" ending was stickin' in my head, they broke out into one of the most beautiful renditions of 'Moon River' this simple plowboy has ever heard. And, even then, I promised myself that I was gonna tell 'em that, sight unseen? I do ...
How could anybody *not* love these two? Even if they ain't 'your style' you've gotta respect the level of talent that compels me to go this far to type so much.

Oh, wow. I just heard this song for the first time half an hour ago, and already I know it's one that is going to be with me all my life. The chorus touches something so deep in me and stirs feelings so old and yet so fresh - I'm in awe of your talent, ladies. I hope you go as far as your beautiful voices can take you.
Girls...saw you @ the TOTP fest in MedHat. Like Sam Cooke, you two could sing the phone book...and make it sound beautiful..loved your background vocals on Karl's song...
I can't stop watching this video... it's so beautiful. Reminds me of how much I miss my dad. But he's free now. So I remember him with kindness and love. Can't WAIT to see them in montreal and hear this song live :)
a few years ago me and my best friend used to ride horses all the time, they were the best days of my life, when your on a horse theres no other feeling. These days life is all about fashion and drama... i miss those days, this is an amazing song.. exactly how i feel :/
An acquaintance of my mom's boss was also a university friend of these two ladies. When she died of a brain tumour, Dala was at a funeral performing this song.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I heard you guys live at the chantal kreviazuk concert ... and when you sang, i was so touched..especially this song. Im so glad we have discovered your music. Thank you DALA.
Instant classic. It should be heard by everyone. I wish music like this was being nominated for Grammy awards, not what's passing for popular music today.
I have a question for anyone who has been following these girls. Have you ever seen or heard them do anything that wasn't perfect ? I haven't. The video of this beautiful song is just another example of that .
The first time I heard this song, they were performing it in a tiny room with about 20 people. No mics, just a piano and their beautiful, unamplified voices. By the end of the first verse, I was a blubbering wreck. Such a powerful song. It still brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it. This video has really done it justice. Well done girls!
Speaking as a person with a disability, I can say that this song speaks to the experience of many people with disabilities. Amanda and Sheila are incredibly talented and have put a powerful voice to our struggle to be understood as we are and not as the world may see us. Thanks, Dala!
this is stupidly beautiful
