  • Jeep never made a 2.5L sport, the only 2.5L are SE. Someone put a sport sticker on the side of your SE. X, Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon are all 4.0L. Don't get me wrong I had a 2001 yellow 2.5L SE 4" skyjacker lift, 33" BFG M/T, 4.88 gears, detroit lockers, Alloy USA axles and it was very capable offroad. Just thought you should know.

  • @mudslinger1984 You are right if you think Jeep never made the TJ 2.5l Sport for the USA or Canada, but they made TJ 2,5l and later 2,4l Sport for the export. Because Gasoline and taxes of possesion for vehicles with large engines are very expensive here in Europe, they made this versions for the European market. So we could choose between TJ Sport with 4 or 6 cylinder engines. So my Jeep is a Wrangler Sport 2,5l made for the Italian market and not an SE with Sport stickers.

  • @petermrs OOOHH good to know, I've been debating moving to Napels so I might actually need to know that someday. Thanks

  • My wife has a yellow sport Wrangler just like yours. Love those yellow Jeeps!

  • Yeah your right the leaf springs dont get much flex, but are way easier to fix.

  • Yeah i prefer the yj's because the leaf springs. I really like the leaf springs for some reason.

  • Both are great and solid like a rock. The TJ´s coil spring are more articulated, but the YJ´s leaf spring are very simple, easy to modify and repair. The harder YJ suspensions are great for fast driving. I saw people convert they YJs to coil spring and an other convert his TJ to leaf spring.

  • nice jeep i really love my yj since i have put a lift and 35's on it

  • Thanks for the comment. My father had a Jeep YJ, it was our first Jeep and after this Jeep we bought 3 other Jeeps. A ZJ and 2 TJs.

  • Id do ANYTHING to have a yellow jeep!! lol......i will trade you my red 4.0L jeep for your yellow one!! lol

  • I agree, yellow Jeeps are very nice, but I like every classic Jeep from the WWII Willys MB/Ford GPW to the Jeep J8.

  • Finely....Someone Who understands the love for a jeep!! lol i have a red jeep wrangler 98...mine is a 4.0L tho.....and i LOVE it!!..........And someone stold the my full hard doors off of it....( Who every you are I Will Hunt you down!!!....and run you over you with my jeep )..... lol Very nice yellow jeep tho!!

  • Thank you, I love my Jeep to death. Red Wranglers are very nice too and the 4.0L engine is great.

  • nice jeep. I have a 06 yellow X and love it to death. I just bought the two piece soft doors for it. Already put on CJ safari mirrors. Not gonna put on any bigger tires but give it that retro CJ look.

  • Thanks for your comment, our Jeeps are great. I want to replace the stock 225/75/R15 Goodyear GSAs with 235/75/R15 (30x9,5R15) Goodyear AT/Rs. The same tire size of some CJs.

  • thanks,,,,fortellingme,,,,which,,one,,,is,,,good,,for,,desert,,,here,,,in,,,dubai,,,there,,are,,,deserts

  • The versions with 4.0l engine are more powerful and durable. The models since 2005 are equipped with a 6 speed manual transmisson instead of 5.

Some Wranglers are equipped with the trac lock limited slip differential. Many of these Jeeps have the heavy duty Dana 44 rear axle. Every Wrangler is equiped with a part time 4wd and low gears. The best Wrangler is the Rubicon it isn`t available everywhere and has Dana 44 front and rear axles with lockers and 4.1:1 low gears instead of 2.72:1.

  • 2006 the Jeep Wrangler TJ was replaced by the Wrangler JK it is available in different versions Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. The transmissions are the same of the last TJ`s, but with light modifications. The engines of the JK are a 2.8l turbo diesel and a 3.8l V6 petrol my favorite is the 3.8l with 190hp. Every Wrangler is a very capable off-road truck.

Here on youtube you can see my other clip called Jeep heritage, it`s a short rewiev of the most important Jeeps.

  • wat is difrrence between wrangler,,sahara and sport is this wrangler is 2.5ltr

  • The Jeep Wrangler TJ here in Italy was available in 3 versions.

SE: a basic version only with 2.5l engine (from 1996 to 1998)

Sport: an intermediate version with climatic system, hard top or with dual top (soft and hard top).

This version was available with 2.5l and

    4.0l engine.

Sahara: is a premium package only with 4.0l engine, painted fender flares, Sahara badges, alloy wheels.

    The 2.5l is a 4cyl. petrol with 120hp,

the 4.0l is a 6 cyl. petrol with 177 rated hp (real power 190hp)

  • Nice!
