The crime rate are pretty proportional to population size overall. part of the disproportions that do exist are because many white offenders are let go or give light sentence while most black petty offenders are given long sentences.

Because often times if a white person assaults a minority (especially black) then he/she will be charged with the assault crime + hate crime, which results in much stiffer sentence. you do know that there are currently more slaves in Africa (owned by other Africans) than there ever was in North America. In fact many slaves were bought directly from African tribes. Slavery was a dark time, but even those deplorable conditions dont compare to the worst African living conditions. Where children are kidnapped, raped and become killers. In any case current generations of blacks should be thanking their lucky stars that their ancestors were brought over here.

Re the Royal Caribbean story: It's possible that many of the passengers weren't aware of the earthquake or if they were, they have no idea how bad it is. I just took a cruise with them last summer and you really are in kind of a bubble the whole time.

@bourgkul Actually the Bible condemns the trading of slaves. read: 1 Timothy 1 verses 8-11. In leviticus it also says that anyone who kidnaps anyone to sell, should be put to death. The Bible does not say that slavery is wrong as people in those days, of their own free will, would become the slaves of wealthier people so that they could survive, but the trading of people as slaves is condemned in the Bible. Please, don't make statements about the Bible before you read it in its entirety.

For example I hate dancing but I dance every now and then because sometimes it helps me get laid. That's a pretty bad example but it gets the point across.

you do know that there are currently more slaves in Africa (owned by other Africans) than there ever was in North America. In fact many slaves were bought directly from African tribes. Slavery was a dark time, but even those deplorable conditions dont compare to the worst African living conditions. Where children are kidnapped, raped and become killers. In any case current generations of blacks should be thanking their lucky stars that their ancestors were brought over here.

Slavery in Africa was ALOT less violent then it was in the States. If you want to actually be correct, you should take up an African America History course. Then you can start making valid arguments.

Before European colonization the only civilized part of Africa was Egypt. And Egyptian people were a mix of Nubian, Asian and Middle Eastern peoples. The sub Saharan primitive Negroes never properly utilized their land to its potential.
