both are going to be in brawl, a while back on ign i remmebre seeing a vid of sakuri (excuse the spelling) mentioning all original chrachters returning.... ness being one of them. and for those people who can read between the lines it says on the website "Is it possible he can surpass even Ness?!" how would we know if we couldnt play as both???

Mother 3 was only released in Japan and The designers wanted Lucas for Melee, but kept Ness to avoid confusion

We all knew he was going to be in Brawl because he was supposed to replace Ness in Melee. But it seems that both of them will appear in Brawl!!!
