  • how smooth of a landing was it

  • To all those who say he was wasting fuel, or taking risks with that fast taxi, please note:

I have timed the arriving jets at Denver, sitting out in the parking lot, and during the day have seen the stack as tight as 45 seconds between planes. This includes 747s, down to puddle jumpers like this one. So he's getting out of the way more than anything. And yes, plenty safe on the 52 sq. miles of DIA. (almost 2x larger than Manhattan!)

Also think... closer to the ground, more apparent speed.

  • I didn't think he was taxiing too fast. Have you ever watched a Southwest captain taxi?

  • I wish all airlines taxid this way,,,,jejejej

  • there is nothing wrong with the taxi, have you all ever heard of a high speed taxi-way? Denver is full of high speed taxi-ways, i just landed there in a A319 and we used the same taxi ways and just as fast!

  • Looks like he realized he'd landed at the wrong airport so decided to keep going. :)

  • it looks like he landed on 35R and if you look at the turnoffs for that runway, you will see that there is a very long one close to the end of it, about 3,930 feet long, so. I agree no need for that amount of speed, but he had the room for it.

  • Maybe the pilot was bored of the loong Denver taxi or had a date with his pussycat!

  • Is this PIlot Crazy?!?!?! :O

  • Danm the pilot is taxing very fast!

  • mybe the pilot had another flight to do and wanted to get to the gate quickly

  • Stil no need for that kind of speed. The CRJ burns next to nothing at idle, so a fast taxi isn't saving much fuel. And being late isn't worth the risk of an accident on the ground, or damaging the gear/ wearing out the brakes.

  • @atlmsl he needs to get off the runway for the next plane in the pattern

  • that is kinda good and bad. It saves fuel because he is going to just coast to the terminal. It is bad becuase a taxi is usually suppose to be a brisk walk. Maybe the flight was late and he wanted to make up for some time...

  • That is NOT normal. That is way too fast! The ground spoilers automatically retract when the plane has been under 45 knots for 10 seconds. They remain deployed the whole video and then who knows how long after. The aircraft was off the runway for 20 seconds before the video stopped. Should definitely be below 45 knots by then.

  • Where did u come from, last time i took a CRJ-200 it was from Milwaukee to Denver and Denver to Salt Lake City.

  • This was from SLC-DEN

  • Ah, I took that route coming home. I don't know if it was the same flight number though. Mine was flight 6608.

  • Wuz Dat When Dat BIG OL BLIZZARD HIT DENVER?

  • pretty normal. but the plane is taxiing very fast still. hehe!!

  • that was a fast turnoff!but ive seen faster

  • was the seats leather or cloth

  • leather.

  • Hey Hey Hey!!! Settle down now. I was just kidding. Sarcasm. Sheesh.

  • The FAA cannot monitor everybody, lol. We all

know this. Plus, this is invaluable research !

  • dude im a CRJ pilot, it's only in flight and everyone would have to have theres on...im not condoning it but it aint gunna blow up the airplane

  • Hey I am finishing up my freshman year of college, I want to be a pilot and I am looking at different ways I can do it. Could you please help me out and tell me the route you went?

  • dude it doesnt effect signals only internet and cell phones calm down

  • Um, are you an agent of the federal government?

  • Dude, take a chill pill. lol :]

  • Was this United Airlines flight 6731 because i'm flying that flight from Milwaukee to Denver on the 26th of december.

  • I don't remember the exact flight number, but it was from SLC-DEN.

  • this airport is amazing. United concourse is the best and most impressive. What an amazing airport on my first ever flight and proper holiday. You're first ever flight is always special.

  • the pilot is lazy he is using autopilot

  • Exits at DIA are often at high speed. That one felt fast, especially since it is in a CRJ, therefore, close to the ground. The pilot was probably breaking the entire mile to the gate. I am also assuming the gate was at the far east end of the terminal since you were moving so quickly.

  • im going to denver airport next year in june to fly to chicago from denver cause im goin to

see my family in illionois so i just need to know what it's like flying for the very first

time cause it'll be my very first time flying on a plane

  • Likewise experience on an ATA 727 landing at Denver. Kept roll at about 80 MPH? till within about 1/4 mile of the gate. Denver is such a large airport however, I felt completely safe at this speed.

  • u shud have seen it in december when i went the runway was with sknow but the cleared it out. they had HUGE storms in december. it was freezing!!!

  • look all snow on area denver this is last couple blizzars down to denver I live on denver nice video
