you play just like i did, except every once in awhile i would cannon cheese protoss from the side of their base, or go all in void rays if i scout tech. One time I straight DTed an all in zealot 4-5 gate. it felt good. you improve every game. protoss just seems so standard in its opening, all i could see you doing better is ninja expanding more on maps that it is easier to hide. you sometimes don't upgrade or get two forges which i think is crucial mid game. all in blink stalker ling muta zerg

Having a different account won't make much difference. Your league is determined by a rolling average of your MMR, not your MMR since the start of time. So soon enough, this account will have a rolling average MMR calculated on the same number of games as your MaximusBlack account.

Jeff i feel as though you have to many sentries, early on for defence they are good, and the forcefields are nice, but in a large scale battle they become useless after the forcefields and gaurdian shields are layed down. but they suck as attacking units. just my opinion.

@rantz0z you mean like the 5 gate? i love the kiwikaki 5 gate but it's the same as using 4 gate.....he's learned more all ins, and only barely improved his overall gameplay. I'm proud to say how now macros beyond the level of a gold, but he now neds to use that macro more efficiently which will make him masters level easy. You dont need builds to get to masters, just efficiency of econmy.

I have some advice that WILL make you better against zerg. Always stay on top of your probe production and be aggressive early. You dont have to commit, just make the zerg HAVE to make units other than drones.

You think you have a bad MMR, I had neve rplayed a strategy game before my life and accidentally skipped my first 50 practice games so I ended up in bronze league and played around 50 games before I got a victory, I suspect the reason I can't leave bronze league no matter how long I am rank 1 is because my MMR is terrible.

Goodluck on your quest to masters. But I dont know if youll be able to get it. Its not just as easy as being a top diamond player.. You have to be top 2%. I am a LOW diamond player, and based on watching you play, I have better response time, apms, etc. So you will need to overcome your weaknesses with sheer superior strategy/builds. Goodluck though Maximus, id like to see you make it man!

u have to use hotkeys for everything and not occasionanely click on it with your mouse, u can focus on other things while your not busy clicking on c for colossus and G for warpgates or H for hold pos

Jeff, it seems that in a number of games that you throw down your robo tech AND the twilight council at the same time, to me, that seems like wanting a bit too much of different tech paths at the same time, maybe experiment holding off on the twilight council until a slightly later timing? maybe after your thirds going and you've got some more ground upgrades. Even though im a terran player i've had very similar issues in the past... keep going, this are fun and interesting to watch!

@SirGecko01 I think this is due to him needing the gas. His gas at natural is fully saturated, he has the minerals to add another expansion and get gas on that since he doesn't need the extra units immediately (though he doesn't add the assimilators immediately, so perhaps I'm wrong). That's my take on it at least.

@Unexard That is statistically untrue. There are far few players in EU which means that there are fewer spot open. Masters EU and Masters Na both have similar AP and usually match well against each other. Horribly untrue stereotype.

@halofornoobs93 That is true, masters and grandmasters league players are fairly equal, but the stereotype comes mostly from the leagues up to diamond where it is kind of true, the NA players have lower AP than EU but not by that much, but it still makes a small difference :P

The problem is that you keep losing games. Resetting your MMR isn't going to make you play better.

Good luck getting to Masters, you will get there in the end - due to practice, not MMR.

That's like expecting to reach your full potential in math after completing trigonometry. Furthermore, studies have shown time and time again that people who view skill mastery as a process and not fulfillment of some magical "potential" do better in every walk of life.
