and that is why Bruce Lee even took the Muay Thai as emphasis for the most effective kick with it's speed and lack of needless formality (btw, he also took stuff from karate as well)...so no, though these kids are BEASTS, they would not put him to shame, because what they have, he has and more.
SMART NOK MUAY THAI SHOULD SPEND TWO YEARS LEARNING GRECO ROMAN STAND UP ONLY WRESTLING BEFORE CONSIDERING GOING TO A THAILAND CAMP..G-R IS USUALLY TOUGHT IN YOUR OWN LANGUAGE AT TIMES IT IS FREE IN HIGH SCHOOLS. LEARN ONLY THE STAND UP PORTION!!
PUMMELING AND COLLAR HOOKS ,, ESCAPES ,SAGING ,SNAP DOWN,.
EVERY THING IN G-R GOES GOOD IN THAI NECK FIGHTING !!
WHY SHOULD GO UNPREPAIRED AND WAIST TIME AND MONEY!!
ADDITIONALLY DEVELOPE YOU WESTERN BOXING SKILL TO A HIGH LEVEL.
if it aint broke dont fix it haha naw man i dont think i can explain it with words but pads like that got a feelin like on old ballglove or old football youve played with for years its got the sweat of champions in it man thats the best way i can put it
Bruce Lee was the first one to bridge Eastern and Western martial arts. Maybe one of the greatest philosophers ever when it comes to martial arts but there have been far greater fighters. And Bruce's JKD system isn't even close to flawless like some make it out to be I practice JKD, Sanshou, and Muay Thai and to be fair striking wise Muay Thai is much better than the other two.
@Jdollaz03 Nah I don't think so. Bruce Lee also worked on Muay Thai as well as Wing Chun, Western Boxing, even fencing. What these kids have, Bruce Lee had that, ancient kung fu, modern day boxing, staff fighting, nun chuk fighting, the whole sha-bang. They would in no way put him to shame, because not only was he 1,000 times in better shape than them, he also took their best moves, along with the best moves from every other style. Muay Thai is a beautiful and EXTREMELY vital asset to combat
@Jdollaz03 no one thinks bruce lee was the best fighter. He had the right mind set. Modernday he would probably be in mma, and probably better than any one of these guys. he was definitely stronger, Bruce was 135 and could lift more that 190 pounders. He came from crappy kung fu. If he did muay thai he would have been the best hands down. :p im not a fan boy ive been doing muay thai for 11 years since i was 9.
@Jdollaz03 And unfortunately, these guys wont fight past age 24. Then what? useless at 26 still supposed to be strong and fast till about at least 35-37.
I guess when you've been training since age 8 kicking with that kind of speed, power and finesse comes almost natural. wish i could kick and knee like that.
Wow, the guy talking about kaewsamrit gym... typical swedish english

I think the Coach should invest on some better equipment. Those bags are worn out.
