4 brilliant bikes, but little reference to ability to carry full size (not token) panniers. It is very strange and pleasing to see the Ducati ,at long last, recognised as being a good looking motorcycle. Virtually every journalist seemed to call them 'ugly' from their introduction and I am sure must have affected sales of this cracking bike. Looks are subjective so please think before you condemn a 'different' bike as ugly.
Ive not heard good things about the tank range on the KTM, also, sitting on it at the show it didn't feel comfy enough for a cross continent blast like the Triumph, so for me it would be the Tiger....and i'm really interested in one!!
Hi, did ride both Tiger and Ktm for a few days. Tiger definitely for the Engine, and Ktm for the rest. Tiger much heavier to handle, Ktm light, easy, smooth, quality made in détails.
Would like an opinion from anyone who has ridden these 3 bikes, the KTM, Tiger and the Multi..
Which of those 3 bikes has the smoothest engine in terms vibration. So which bike has controlled the vibes the best either by engine design or other rubber mounting measures, in the bars, seat and pegs. Handlebar vibes being my greatest concern. Any opinions? Thanks.
The Ducati is an Ugly looking food mixer.Personally i think i`d take the tiger coz it`s british and the KTM is too expensive for the very minor differnce.
i really thought multistrada will take 2nd place it might be that brits are little biased but i don't mind i would still have the KTM if i had the money

some things about the ktm: crazy inspection costs at short intervalls (7500km i got one), burns fuel like crazy - 7-10 litres

im austrian and i own a bmw r1200gs adv as well as a ktm duke II - i think with this bike i can reduce to one bike that does it all :P
...still theres the 990 adventure that will rival the smt - but honestly - how often do you really have a chance to go off-roads?

Come ooooooon! Look at that cool design, man! After that, the Tiger. Other 2 just two "oldie" for me. Cheers!

I know, me too. What I meant was that I do like the design of the Ducati, those "eyes".

nice review but would have liked to see them compared against the VFR, pretty sure it would have put a huge fat grin on all the testers faces.
