  • When did all these prissy steps get into jive? It's a serious question. The Jive (dance) was an anarchistic reaction to ballroom dancing and there were no specific steps just some basic moves which everyone then did their own variations on. This is equivalent to asking anarchists to march!

  • we're doing jive for school n thts not what we do we do 4 stepps forth heel up back heel up back

  • for the left right stuff over and over u can jus say

1 2 or under, over cha cha cha

  • Steve!! Where did you get that groovy shirt? I would like to buy one. Cheers mate.

  • nice

  • and i speak gooder english than you

  • @anajudge I'd say they speak better english than you.

  • @unoriginal345 Well I'm sorry I'm not from America like them and I was not born speaking english. I'm terribly sorry for that, ya know? And that comment was when I first made my account, and now I speak english much better. And who so you think that speaks correctly on youtube, or more, internet?

  • @anajudge oh really? you can dance better THEN them? oh, then you're the GOODEST. :) (late comment, i know, but it's funny i can't stop laughing, like, judging others while showing them how "goodest" you are:D)

  • I know a jive to rockin robin and im 10. it well better!!!

  • oh it´s easy! i think it´s very hard but it´s easy! xD

  • This is NOT the 50's style Jive !!! This is East Coast Swing or a variation of it (The god awful triple step). DONT BE FOOLED !!!

  • Jive (at least for the competitions) and East Coast have the same basic. The difference is in speed and technique.

  • actually i didn't like, because chasse wasn't shown right. There is a difference between first side step and second. First one is small and second one is large.

    Next problem is timing.

  • @kretsu you're wrong, sorry for my bad english(i'm french).

There is a difference between East Coast and jive. What you raise is the difference.

This is not East coast. In France, this is the basic for jive. (6 beats)

  • @calou4031 , hello

Actually I'm talking about Jive which included into the sport dancing program and i think formally approved by IDSF. What I can see in this video is Jive basic figures, rock step and chasse to right , left , forward and backward. Jive music is 4/4 with stress (not sure how it must be written in english) on 2 and 4. So for chasse (3 steps) beats will be: 1 & 2 with timing 3/4 1/4 1/1

  • Kelly is the best.

  • XD!!!!!!!!!hehe

  • awesome but all expert village videos have lik no volume...blast it!!

  • thnx you are great! xx

  • This is East Coast Swing, not jive.

  • the first bit is jive basics :)

  • Do a bit of research. ECS and Jive Basics are similar but Jive is usually a few bars per minute quicker and involves alot more precise footwork. As a professional dancer, I can tell that they were doing American style ECS.

  • okies lol thanks!!..xx

  • thanks ;)

  • ang lupwet!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • goood

  • This is szar
