It's a long story. I'll try to sum it up for ya.

Aura randomly disappeared from the network, and CC Corp tried to bring her back. They established Project G.U. and used what they called the R.A. Plan (Return Aura Plan). They aimed to recreate Morganna, salvaging the Morganna Factors (the Phases of the Cursed Wave) and turning them into Avatars to be used by the Epitaph Users. Haseo is the Epitaph User for Skeith. Pi has Tarvos and Kuhn has Magus (the other two with Haseo in the video).

add onto the fact that Haseo Real world player is the player that was Sora from .hack after he lost his memory from being in the coma that Skeith placed him into. So Haseo Controling Skeith is Irony of his past that he doesnt remember.
