I made one for a math project for college in spring 09' . It looks like its about 10 feet tall when standing on one of its points. I got an A++ Thanks for the video reference, I was the first and only one to make a giant one, my professor was very proud watching the class carry it onto the quad and eventually a friend used it as a human hamster ball.

I made one! It took 3 hours, 140 plastic cups,

10 and a half hot glue sticks and a lot of figuring out! Connecting the belt of ten to the hats of five was hard but making the hats of five was even harder! After it was made I played catch with it and it is strong!

Commenting on random outburst`s comment, back about 5 or 6 years ago my mom got one of these as a Christmas gift from a friend of hers. Her friends version was wired up with Christmas lights. Just the regular white non blinking lights, it would have looked more spectacular if she had done it with colored lights...

like the person below i made one of these and wire 560 extra bright leds four in each cup linked them all together it took 1 car battory with a converter it was the best

The 2nd one, if you use small plastic (clear) cup and staple them together till it makes a ball, right before you put lets say the last 5 cups, put STRING OF CHRISTMAS LIGHTS in and let just the plug stick out, and staple the last 5 cups in. it makes a gr8 looking ball (it's pretty big,something you would hang in your outside tree at christmas) and it's cheap to make... have fun.

He altered the plug so it goes backward, or he put a pipe into the exhaust and inflated it that was.

On the other side of certain ones theres like another hole there for the "exaust" air coming out from the fan that creates the sucking.
