It sure was. Knoxville had so much bluegrass going on back then. So many clubs that had bluegrass, plus 2 Buddy's BBQ locations that had live bluegrass every weekend. Some of the very top bands and artists played there.

Great music ,Knoxville was a hot bed for great bluegrass back in the late 70's and early 80's !
