I think what Tyra was trying to do is, change the modelling industry BY choosing people who doesn't fit the brief...[like what Coleen's show does] at the end of the day. Not everyone on this earth is stick thin or tall. We're all shapes and sizes and I'm glad Tyra focused ANTM on women who are like that. Ofcourse Tyra had to put up with people calling her fat when she wasn't. But she's still beautiful. Anyway, at the end of the day it all boils down to entertainment.

I agree. ANTM doesn't show the fashion industry realistically. For example, Anya from last season was obviously the better model, but they chose the sucky plus size girl instead to try and send a positive message to the audience. ANTM tries to make modelling apear as a positive thing for girls to aspire to. Imo it just breeds a culture of naive young girls who want to be models and take it too seriously when I don't think it should be. Modelling and fashion are frivolous and fun, that's it.
