If the throw system was better you wouldnt see such retarded and boring turtling to th emax. There is nothing wrong with defense being an option but what happens in some sf4 matches is straight up retarded.
I think Capcom wanted this way to help chance of comeback and make all matches more "exciting" by forcing whoever is attacking to change his pattern and give more option to the person defending and assumed "losing"
