@HandiCripple666 Again, the song is about a courtship which ends disappointingly when he "pops the question" because she is to immature and vain to commit - as if she were still a "child". It's not literally about an affair with a minor. The opposite sentiment is reflected in his song "This Girl Is A Woman, Now" when she does say, "Yes".
