indeed, I remember battle of the planets.. and there was another one with robots, a family of them, and I can't ever remember what the name of is was.. The father was a golden one and stood 50 feet tall.. and there was a mother and a son... anyone remember, let me know. ;)

For me it was also reruns in the 70's. In the San Francisco Bay Area it was on after school on the "Captain Cosmic" show on Channel 2 in Oakland.
