This actually does still work as of 10/11/2011. Sometimes she has two expensive combat armors and one cheap one. You buy the expensive one and drop it then you talk to her again and just buy the combat armor and it'll look like combat armor (2) but you'll buy the cheaper of the two. You then just buy it and you'll be able to sell it back for 190 caps after buying it for 123. Make sure to not have anything on your person but bottle caps. Put everything in a locker and it'll work 100% as shown.

You will lose caps the first 4 to 12 transactions tell the item becomes repaired as shown in all 3 clips by me, Once the item is at 100% that is when the glitch kicks in and starts to work. It doesn't work with all items. Use laser pistols, laser rifles, leather armor, these items all work 100% of the time with all merchants. Also watch clip two thay I have posted under "Video Responses"
When that happens buy one item any item from the merchant and then hit the back button and wait 4 days (Right there in the Shop) and the shop keeper will now get a different set of inventory items, just keep waiting tell they get the items you want or need.

lawlz, just to let you all know, i found this on my own but that doesn't matter, it works with most any weapon that you have 2 of or armor, and you can wear anything you want and have all your normal gear with you ^^

crooke1609 it doesnt matter what barter skill you have i started doing the glitch with 15 barter and it worker also it works with ant type of armor that is in double

Still works 100% of the time before and also after all patches, updates, and DLC. Go to a shop keeper and search there inventory tell you find a laser pistol, laser rifle, combat armor, or leather armor that they have two of, You do not sell them the items, They must have the pair of items themselves. Buy the cheaper of the two same items, then sell it back, buy it again, then sell it back, buy it, then sell it, just keep repeating, That's all there is to it lol, It works every time.

lol yeah i actually realized that the reason i wasn't getting anything is because she didn't have anymore than 42 caps so that's why it wasn't working. i guess i just need to get farther in the game.

great video but i am disappointed in bethesda and everyone else that made this game they should have made the game with everything limited like weapons ammo food and gear so it would be harder to survive

You don't bring the laser pistols, you must buy them from the shop keeper (2). This glitch does not work with your items, items must be bought. Buy the cheaper of the two same items the shop keeper has (Not ones you've sold), then sell it back, buy it again, then sell it back, buy it, then sell it, just keep repeating, That's all there is to it.

You will lose caps the first 4 to 12 transactions tell the item becomes repaired as shown in all 3 clips by me, Once the item is at 100% that is when the glitch kicks in and starts to work. It doesn't work with all items. Use laser pistols, laser rifles, leather armor, these items all work 100% of the time with all merchants. Also watch clip two thay I have posted under "Video Responses"

When that happens buy one item any item from the merchant and then hit the back button and wait 4 days (Right there in the Shop) and the shop keeper will now get a different set of inventory items, just keep waiting tell they get the items you want or need.

lawlz, just to let you all know, i found this on my own but that doesn't matter, it works with most any weapon that you have 2 of or armor, and you can wear anything you want and have all your normal gear with you ^^

At the beginning of the game, save every laser and plasma weapon you find and keep it in your house until you have as many as you want, then go to that Brotherhood Outcast guy who wants technology stuff and give him all the weapons, when your done, Mez him and take all of the weapons back, they've been repaired to %100 and are worth 1000 caps each for the rifles.

When the shop keeper runs out of caps, ammo or any other item you might want, Just hit the back button and wait 4 days (Right there in the Shop) and the shop keeper will now get all there items and caps back again. Repeat all the above steps all over again as many times as you like or need. In one hour time I made 50000 caps and had 5000 rounds of each ammo type. And that is how you get a unlimited amount of Caps and Ammo.
