Actually thats not entirely true..

The last update on the wii was around the start of november (About 4 months ago), to prevent people from uploading illegal channels onto the wii. Plus.. im not talking about wii system updates im on about Wi-Fi games like CoD5, SSBB and MKWii

And nintendo have no choice but to invest in new items when they'v got companies like Microsoft and Sony creating stuff that is almost impossible for the Wii to handle.
