  • INCEPTION!!!!! :))))))))))))))))))))

  • How does HE know that she has a RED car parked outside? It could have been BLUE.

  • @morarulz ........ really?

thats ur big question? how did he know what colour her car was? thats like reading the bible and asking why the bush was cold

  • @mikeymoughtin ha ha... He had to know the color of her car. If her car was BLUE, then his swish pattern trick wouldn't have worked right? She would still see it as blue. And darren would've been so embarrased. Because he replaced the color RED. I think that the girl was handpicked by darren and paid. I'm not saying that darren is a SCAM artist and I do believe in NLP. But this trick smells like a scam.

  • @mikeymoughtin haha idiot person! learn what he is doing before you put your idiot and uneducated answers to the comments of people who you don't know!

  • I'm wondering how much did she get paid to pretend that she looks a red car and thinks that it is a black car! hahaha

  • @Pantognwsths haha noob. learn what he's doing before u put ur uneducated scub comments here.

  • 0_o

  • this video is NOT the swish pattern and is actually the BELIEF CHANGE PATTERN

  • @x000einfinity000x yeah this definitely was NOT the swish pattern

    DMJL

  • @x000einfinity000x nooooooooooob it's not a belief change "pattern" he uses swish pattern to cause the belief change effect. watch his use of touching her arms and hand placement, it's a physical/visual swish.

  • So THAT'S what happened at the car dealership! Dang car salesman was a hypnotist.

  • WOW. Simple shoulder touching...

  • is this the retarded test or something?

  • @MobyGoCollection no, its pretty much using nlp and hypnosis techniques to manipulate the person to perceive colors differently... cool huh?

  • That would never work on me.

  • NLP in eye accessing cues up and right is Visual remember. The way I remembered it was if you think the letter C comes before R in the alphabet. So when you look at someones you know that VC is up and to the left VR is up to the right..I hope this helps .

  • @oniluaPogaihT - If she is left handed than her visual construction and visual recal eye patterns will most likley be switched; maybe she is left handed!

  • Anchor city...

  • she could be left handed

  • Split your lungs with blood and thunder

When you see the white whale

Break your backs and crack your oars men

    If you wish to prevail

This ivory leg is what propels me

    Harpoons thrust in her flesh

Aim directly for her crooked brow

And look her straight in the eye

    Fat whale - holy grail

  • Actually according to Richard Bandler the up right is common for visual construction and he also says that it can differ from person to person. Her cue for visual reconstruction might not up top right. I did notice that thought and thought the same thing

  • Actually visual cues and eye movement can differ from person to person. though top right is much more common for reconstruction its not exclusive

  • Derren is nothing to my master hypnotist

  • I am a hypnotist and my master who teched me hypnosis knows how to hypnotize on long distance, i am learning that technique, but it it takes a lot of concentrantion, Derren is nothing to my master

  • @zoraneuro maybe your hypnotist master should teach you how to spell.

  • Fake. A hypmotist tried this bs on me and he become irate and frustrated when his "suggestions" never worked. Maybe it takes a certain person who wants to not believe in reality or wishes to be childlike and have people tell them what to believe. Who knows. Maybe she was just into him and wanted to impress him by behaving like she thinks he wants her to. However it makes her look simple minded :(

  • THIS IS FAKE DUDE SOMEONE EXPLAIN ME THIS PLZZZZ

  • Through Consistent analising I have determined that looking Top right in the eye patterns means : Construction, therefore it doesn't mean that the place is made up, it just means that the person in question is not directly accessing the place from memory, but is reconstructing it

Or she could be making it up.

  • that guy is awesome

  • Not is she is left handed.

  • Derren used belief change giving uncertain belief same submodalites as certain belief has so that belief is now absolute truth for her, also he used anchoring he never used swish. Also he used anchoring points to misplace her belief about colors, notice how he fires a anchor for uncertain belief and then anchor for something she knows its truth, that why she so easily accepted his suggestion about yellow is actually red.

  • waaaaaaaaaa.... i did this to my friend and it work... weeeeeeeee... XD

master derren.. build an occult society

  • maybe she is color blind and didnt tell anyone

  • @N12MAR

She named the cards correctly the first time...

  • I hate these "powerful" asshole

  • Someone asked: Why left/right handed. Handedness depends on your brains dominant hemisphere. This is a genetic thing, but is as mentioned, not always expressed in absolut terms. Eye patterns is by no means exact. They differ from person to person, and you can have to get a baseline before using them

  • Another thing to notice is the anchoring of the words "that" and "it".

"..."it" doesn't feel solid... ...and maybe "that" makes "it" not-(solid)"

"so when you think of "THAT"(holding up left hand) and you think "that" you know you live in Vegas. 'THAT'S' solid"

"... and "that" makes you feel.. "definitely live in Vegas "..."

Also notice that he correlates the words with what he's gathered about her eye patterns.

    "look" at "it"

    "think" of "that"

This helps him intercept her preferred perception.

  • he anchors uncertainity to HER left shoulder and certainity to HER right shoulder so every time he shows her a color he touches her on the left and then she starts to doubt wether it's really yellow/red/green/blue...

Very well done, coolest thing is that I have been seeing so many NLP videos by known that I start to recognize the anchors!

  • i would say ya to everything to just to make him shut the fuck up and plus shes probably just some stupid ass bitch and is retarded ha

  • the womans profile is almost perfect for 'suggesting' things that will be accepted as reality. an overweight, less than attractive woman. such characteristics would have made her the center of negative attention through out her life, making her easily believe that she is ugly, fat, undesirable etc etc. society forced her personality into that mold - despite the fact she in all reality fits physically, but not mentally/emotionally - anyway derren capitalizes on her preprogrammed mind

  • 'who painted it blak tho?' LOL2cute.

  • @iig0team ejmm.. its Derren not Darren

  • What a sin for this woman who can no longer understand what colors are what

  • how did he know the car was red? I mean he tricked her to think red was black, but how did he know that her car was red? or was there any previous conversation going on?

  • @poroto931 ofcourse there was previous interaction. Obviously to film someone up in their face, they must ATLEAST agree to some formal agreement/informing. Darren is legit guys. This is NLP at it's finest.

  • @poroto931 He got her to mix up a whole series of colors that cover 95% of the colors that cars are.......... So even though he probably did know what color her car was he didn't need to know that.

  • Actually, touching the shoulders is not very effective. He should have used the tits instead.

  • @MadocDoyu Congratulations! This is the funniest comment I will ever read. EVER! ROTFLMAO!! :-)

  • amazing how did he do that?

  • @jackseneca With mad skills.

  • WHAT ARE THOSE CHICKS AT THE END TALKING ABOUT THAT CAR WAS BLACK!

  • @BwSeven you don't know english very vell or you didn't listen to what they were saying (or you don't know allcolors on snglish).

  • @stefance1 I know enough English to say this: Shut the fuck up!

  • Why is she so fat?

  • @DietmarSchneider he tricked her when she was young into thinking she was eating green

  • Anchoring

  • damn I live in vegas but i never see any celebrities or anything like this wtf...

  • maybe she got too many drinks?

  • What series is this from?

  • he touches her arms oppositely to mix her up...cool

  • the first two minutes of him tlkn he's deliberately mixing her mind up

  • @T3rraBahamut LOL !

  • Something vary strange happens in this videos. For those of you who are familiarized with Eye Patterns, at second 0:30 when he asks her about where she lives, she clearly look to the top right, witch means she is having a visual construction, therefore imagining a place that doesn't exists in her mind. Is that mean that she is lying about living in Vegas? If so, the hole story would be fake.

Something to think about!! It all sounds to magical to be true.

  • @oniluaPogaihT second 0:27 ... sorry

  • @oniluaPogaihT I think you are trying to read into it a little too much. Where people look for rememebering something visual and constructing something visual can be different. There is no rule that says all people look top right when constructing an image. Some people are different, and most left handers are the reverse of right handers.

  • @oniluaPogaihT Seems to be more like she is checking out the cameraman, since her private information (where do you live) was being recorded.

  • @oniluaPogaihT I've heard it's the opposite for left-handed people. Though the way she lies the cards down would suggest that she's right-handed.

  • @oniluaPogaihT Visual construction don't always mean lying. Maybe she is visualising are where she lives or her house etc. To me it was more like she was looking her right not top right...

  • @oniluaPogaihT yeh ur quite rite .. but derren hypnotised her (waking or conversational hypnosis) which would work even if she lies.. so this is legit . nd very much possible fr the the advanced masters of hypnosis like derren himself...

nd even the nlp people say tat tis eye thing is nt 100% in every one

  • Comment removed

  • @oniluaPogaihT She could be left-handed. It's the opposite for me, my top right correlates to visual memories

  • @oniluaPogaihT From what I know, eye patterns are different from person to person.

But of course it could be fake. Either way, I am going to learn this cool trick ;) It works of course only on very suggestible people. The thing is, to learn how to spot one :)

  • @ivarpb

I would say that you need someone suggestible to do the color trick. But the first part is a classic belief change swish pattern, modified somewhat with anchors, which he also uses later for the cards, but this is no trick, and the first part will work with anyone willing to shed some limiting beliefs (or disbeliefs)

  • @Dooley You are right. I have tried this swish pattern on my fellow students to make them more motivated and more drawn towards studying. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont. It depends on the situation and on the concentration and determination of the subject. And of course how I present it.

  • Comment removed

  • @oniluaPogaihT what matters is the feeling she hast about the fact that she lives in Vegas. it doesn't matter if its visualized or felt etc

  • @oniluaPogaihT what matters is the feeling she has about the fact that she lives in Vegas. It doesn't matter if she visualized or felt it. It's the connection with the touches and the hand that's important

  • @oniluaPogaihT Depends on if youre left or right handed.

  • Comment removed

  • @oniluaPogaihT More interesting that you can't draw those sort of conclusions without calibrating.

  • @oniluaPogaihT Not necssarily... That applies to MOST people, but there are exceptions, especially if the person is left-handed.

The important thing is to calibrate with the client. Whichever side they go to for constructed, it will be consistent.

If you asked her what color her first car was, she'd also look up to the right. But if you asked her to imagine if that car was a different color, she'd look up and left to construct it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dooley id like to understand why it would matter if they are a left handed person or not.

  • @oniluaPogaihT only if she is right handed would this be the case, left side dominant individuals have some contrasting behavioral gestures

  • @oniluaPogaihT sometimes the eye patterns are exactly opposite for people. It's said to be rare, but I heard it does exist

  • @oniluaPogaihT

    Unless she is left handed.

  • @oniluaPogaihT

The top right is actually visual remembering.

    Top left is visual construction.

  • @oniluaPogaihT yes it could be fake. If she is left handed though, the eye patterns tend to change sides

  • @oniluaPogaihT It varys depending if the person is left or right handed, so her visual construction could be to the left if shes left handed, thats what i was taught anyway.

  • @oniluaPogaihT she might be left handed, which in that case, she is telling the truth

  • Comment removed

  • @oniluaPogaihT it's because she visualize her house

  • @oniluaPogaihT you can't always trust those eye patterns man. everyone is different

  • @oniluaPogaihT

She is left-handed. Left-handed people eye pattern is normally opposite to right-handed.

However, this is not a golden rule. Everyone is need to be tested before making conclusion.

  • @oniluaPogaihT

    She could be lefthanded.

  • @oniluaPogaihT you could always immagine your house or smth... besides, the "looking" thing isn't always right for others....

what I noticed is the shoulder touch... he makes the Swish Pattern and touches her shoulders. When he makes the same for colors, he also touches her shoulders, activating the Swish Pattern... (google swish pattern to understand it)

yellow - right shoulder, when he says red (for yellow) - left shoulder.... kinda reprograming the brain

  • @oniluaPogaihT yeah but whayt about if the lady is left handed

  • @oniluaPogaihT doesn't really matter, he anchored the sense of "vague / faded" to one shoulder and the sense of "real / clear" to the other, I'm sure he was reading all the cues to make sure she had the right concepts anchored properly.

I also wouldn't rely on the right/left handedness to figure if it's VC or VR. The basque for example can use either side regardless of which hand they use primarily.

  • @oniluaPogaihT looking at that direction doesn't always mean a visual construction. It does for the most of us....just like most of us are also right handed. But in her case it could be the opposite side is her visual construction

  • @OMIYOURHOMIE i was thinking the same thing

  • @oniluaPogaihT

that depends on whether she writes with right or left hand, if you are left handed than it is vice versa

  • @oniluaPogaihT That isn't ALWAYS right.

  • Comment removed

  • @oniluaPogaihT Sometimes this pattern is switched for a few people, so they use the Right hemisphere for rational thinking while their left is used for Creative thinking. But yeah her eyes move over the horizon extremly.

  • @oniluaPogaihT

i am praciticing and experimanting NLP myselfe.

up means visuall that is true. but, if her memory doesnt contain many visual sub modalities but it is a true mamory she may complete it with her creative part of her brain. that happens. and you cant certantly always say if someone is lying, or simply reconstructing missing modalities of the truth.

i tried this pattern on therapy and it went realy well.

  • @oniluaPogaihT She probably only pictured a part of her house which is in Vegas, or her house, but floating in the space of her mind rather than Vegas, but she get's a kinesthetic feeling of certainty know it's her house and it's definitely in Vegas. So the anchor was effective regardless of how she thought of it.

  • @oniluaPogaihT

She could be left-handed, in which case it is not uncommon for the pattern to be reversed.

    Just something to think about

  • @SodapopBandit hahahah; great minds think alike!!

  • @oniluaPogaihT Often people have reversed eye accessing queues. It is very common. I myself have them reversed. Derren will have already done a calibration to test which way her queues function before beginning the pattern.

  • @oniluaPogaihT Actually visiual construction in eye patterns is top left, not right. Also if you read a bit more about NLP, you won't be seeing anything magical in this video.

  • @oniluaPogaihT b/c she's already in a trance... think about it.

  • @oniluaPogaihT Not all people are built the same way and there are some people that have reversed eye patterns.

  • let me phuck your mind!!!

  • i got it on the first watch i know how he douse it

  • That touch on the shoulder he does is called anchoring. I recommend the book Monsters and Magical Sticks by Stephen Hellar to every human on the planet.

  • @acrobaticaromatic what other books you recommand to us??

  • Usually I hardly notice "anchoring" techniques, but this is an obvious and clear example. I'm always amazed at NLP.

  • the hand keeps the eye on the left upper corner, as derren makes her think of something she lacks confidence in,, he anchers that feeling to the left shoulder,

he then asks her to say something she is positive about, and makes her look the other way, keeping her eyes on the right upper corner, derren anchers that positive feeling.

he then switches the two states, makes the uncertain one positive by anchering the feeling to that task,

  • persuasiontechnology.wordpress(dot)com/ This blog is really helpful to understanding these things. Helped me a LOT!!

  • One thing this guy indefinitely does, in all of his videos, is make everyone uncomfortable as fuck.

  • I like his variation on the swish pattern for confidence building. Great anchoring.

  • She was confused and Didnt think at all because hes socialy attractive.

  • hes anchoring those feelings with the touch on the shoulder

  • Dang, that girl is big.

  • Wow. People are dumb.

  • @TheMessianicManic suggestibility doesn't equal intelligence

  • @ExDeeXD That's right. LACK of suggestibility equals intelligence.

  • @TheMessianicManic That's not really true either. I don't think suggestiblity has anything to do with intelligence. I'd say it has more to do with creativity and daydreaming than anything.

  • @TheMessianicManic Where are you getting this from? Everyone is suggestible to varying degrees. Just because someone is not suggestible to hypnotic technique does not make them intelligent, and vice versa. Besides, intelligence is not a single measurable aspect of the brain. There are multiple types of intelligences (ie: musical, scientific, mathematical, social, etc). Claiming "people are dumb" doesn't make you look smart, either.

  • @ExDeeXD well theres kinda a rule in hypnosis that saids the smarter they are the easier they are to hypnotize thats why u odnt se retards in stage show hypnosis

  • people will pick up on you touching them on each shoulder like that. theyll question why youre doing that cuz it'll come of as weird. i tried this on 3 friends and they were like, 'what the hell are you doing?' it doesnt work. try being more subtle next time.

  • @davidxrodriguez , david, you just already answered to your own question. what I mean? if your guys allways asks wtf are you doing with touching them, it means that your still didnt managed to direct the attention away. and you just still cant do IT such smoothly with no "misunderstanding" ;)

  • He sets an anchor of 'dubious belief' when he touches her on the left shoulder and an anchor of 'firm belief' when he touches her on the right shoulder while she visualizes images of her beliefs (his hand leads her eyes to access her right and left cortex of her brain). He reinforces the anchor. Then he "swishes"--pulls over the dubious image into the firm belief mode--as he triggers the anchors. When he changes her beliefs about colors, all he is doing is triggering the anchors he just set.

  • Now she's going to think a red traffic light isn't working, go straight through and get t-boned.

  • @MrHowToDoIt you are funny :)

  • Why does she perceive the color Red to be Black?

Is it something to do with Black being our natural instinct to replace a color... or shit, just tell me before I confuse myself and start thinking Reds are Black, Yellows are Red, and Mice are Pigs...

  • @Davijai Mice are pigs.....

  • someone needs to do this with the KKK

  • @andsr002 ahhahahaha +1 :D

  • @andsr002 lol ...

  • I just don't believe it. Someone has to further explain this to me. Messages are welcomed.

  • Well shes an idiot, if he asked me "is that color completely red?" I'd say "what does completely mean?" Its a color that closely resembles yellow in terms of human color referencing.

  • @uspprodotcom : kinaesthetic anchors are primitive. People's own naturalistic anchors are the ones you wanna catch...so elicit - then calibrate - then test and you have the best anchor you could never have thought of...and THEY gave it to you.

  • Cool video! I don't think this is actually a swish pattern though. It just belief change (change in submodalities of belief and doubt). Swish is a quick change of 2 pictures so the first impulse (picture) leads to the next.

  • @schludy0 You're an idiot.

  • Wow amazing stuff

  • the right eye look, works well with chicks if you want to get them emotional.. because Women are all about Emotion..

  • The youngest person who ever became a professor was a woman. Professor of mathematics. Math is all about emotion, you see.

  • he is using her right brain the emotional side, not the analytical to show the colors.. so she will agree.. I look in peoples right eyes to disarm people

  • Is that what happens when I do that? It makes sense, in a way. I look in people's right eyes and then unfocus my eyes and look "through" them to put them into an altered state of consciousness. I then walk away and they forget that I am there for the rest of the encounter. It gets me away from people I don't wish to speak to.

  • @TwistingWays: It is not them that go into trance when you do that...you go into YOUR trance...and if you have rapport with them, they will follow and also go into trance. But if you don't have rapport then you'll just seem weird to them and you'll probably confuse them...which can of course be another opportunity for you to ASSIST them in going into trance. Pace their confusion and desire for something sensible...then give them the most sensible thing to do....SLEEP!!!!

  • Can anyone hear exactly what he says right as he switches the anchors and starts calling yellow red? I listened to it over and over but I just can't make it out.

  • If you don't believe this video, go find a live hypnotist show and bring a skeptical friend/significant other willing to go onstage. You'll see things 10x weirder.

  • I've no doubt that her check's in the mail.

  • Very interesting, but this is just simple, fast paced, anchoring. I don't him using a swish pattern anywhere, especially considering the swish pattern is practically entirely internal.

  • @Wyzenhu. . . . The CIA is founded on mind control. . .there agents know this stuff and much more. . . . with the help of technology. . . they can put their images and sounds into your mind. . .(haarp)

  • In the start he was talking about somethiing she felt unsure with and he touched her left shoulders every time he mentioned what was unsure, and then he talked about her home that was defenitely Vegas and touched her right shoulder every time he mentioned something that was absolutely true. Later when he talked about the colours he asked stuff like "but this doesn't have to be yellow, does it?" and touched her "uncertain" left shoulder qhile doing so, making her uncertain. Amazing! =)

  • @MikeoWar I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the difference between your right and left brain too. Left = logical, analytical, right = creative. That's theoretically how nlp is applicable to eye movement.

  • That's very possible, I know nothing about this ^^

  • hahaha wow thats just amazing, left right, wow I wonder if DB ever teaches classes of this stuff...

  • if you read the entry Derren Brown on Wikipedia, u'll notice that he has some books about this stuff, and also some videos for a selected public... just for experienced magicians and mentalists.

also he teaches this kindda thing in other videos, jus like the one named "Derren Brown NLP, which is related to this one (7:14 minutes)...

  • db is just amazing.....i think he influenced her a bit more than you can actually see in the vid....stuff often gets cut out.

  • Wow the CIA would be on their knees to get to employ Derren Brown

  • he made her colorblind just by talking to her... just wow

  • this guy rocks... the vid in which he buys stuff with blanck piece of paper is great, hilarious.

and how about that one in which he asked the subjects wallet, watch and stuff?

    great.

  • She seems bright and not at all easy to influence.

  • Camera takes don't feel fair in this one: yellow card with her voice not in same frame, black car she announced with her back to...

  • I'm studying NLP and I can definitely follow him pretty much all the way, but how could he make her think red was black? He didn't bring up the red paper in their conversation and it didn't seem like he tried to associate it with his black shirt. What suggestions might you have that this could be?

  • you see red because only red is reflected to your eyes, all but red is absorbed (like Derren said). When you are implying yellow is red, the "real red" that you actually see gets ignored, hence, "no light" is reflected to you eyes. To her, chances are red is black whilst black is also black.

  • He actually kinda suggested her to agree with him whenever he touches her right shoulder :D fucking awesome :D so basically, whenever he asks her something and touches her right shoulder, she will agree :D

  • Suggestion means "subtle command".... Since this people are infront of camera, they tend to follow what derren tells them instead of going against it.... Moreover things like nodding the head tells them subtly to follow his instructions..... Nowadays eveyone wants to be on tv... This goes with stage hypnosis as people follow due to pressure from the crowd (they don't want to look stupid infront of them).
