Love the music and the man. Many of us from the old neighborhood have recently reconnected and are also wondering what has happened to you after you stopped playing. If you are out there some where, the Jorgensen girls would love to hear from you again!
hey folks i remeber this one..great,really,very originally..first time i hear that song,it was 1984. i was 16 old guy and fall in love with sanya, sum long haired girl.. love this song..regard
Nice try . This isnt a Hot Tracks Remix. The guys behind the Hot Tracks were professional mixers with professional equipment. In a weird kind of way though, I actually listened to the whole thing to envision what a remix would have sounded like. Ya gotta match the downbeats with the downbeats and the upbeats with the upbeats. Stick to the traditional 8 and 16 beat groupings and you'll fare better next time.
OK, someone's got to say this, so it might as well be me: this is a great track, but it's a pretty poor "mix". Sure, the beats have been respected, but the cheap butting together of musically-unrelated bars is really unsatisfactory. There's no real understanding of the sense of the track in this mix: you'd be far better to listen to the original extended mix (6'25" or so). Still, an interesting listening experience. Thanks for posting.
Someone know a wormhole to the 80's?

I had the 12" but not the HOt Tracks version - it was three times as expensive but of course, worth the production

@amylNRG I agree. I heard both version and I enjoy the shorter version more. Good Mix plays a big part to enjoy longer tracks.

An absolute beautiful work of art by a creative force who hammered, nailed, and 'saw' it.
Thank you Peter Brown.
