@purplewalnut89 Actually , I think he's at his peak right here...As much as I really liked and like the HERITAGE cd and tour, I do think he's overcompensating vocally now. This is the Mikael Vocal Arch right here, which is damn fine with me.

@paintbynight The Roundhouse Tapes were his peak, really. After that, it was all downhill as far as growls go. His singing is great these days, but his harsh vocals seem to have been deteriorating for a few years. Even the Wacken 2008 performances aren't that good.

Mike's death growls sound...different. He said in an interview that, for a time, he switched to inner-ear monitors instead of the usual floor speakers, and that these changed the way he did his growls (and also caused him to lose his voice). I wonder if that's the case here.
