im glad that the man didn't get hurt too bad, dogs do get angry/scared when things get like that. . my dog and I were attacked by another dog and she has never hurt anyone but when the vets were treating her, without me there, she growled and they had to mussle her for their safety. I love my dog but she was a danger to them because she was scared and hurt. They understood adn continued their work.

Way to go you guys - so sorry that the guy got hurt but so glad that unlike the other "dog on ice" save - where the worried owner ended up arrested - that it was handled professionally. If the guy that got hurt was like the police there he would have flung his hands up, shouted screw the dog and the dog would have died. Applauds to you all.
