when i play a pad/note twice it overlaps and each other and it sounds terrible. how do you make a pad/note cut itself or something you play it?

@ongert03 when you click a pad look at the top right of your fpc where it says cut and by, set both of them to 1

@ongert03 In the right top (almost top) You'll see Cut & Cut by -- make sure both are set to 1, then it wont overlap when you hit the pads. Hope it helped ya.

@gilljon26 is that guru thing the tool you use to chop? and is there something in Logic Pro 9 to do a similar thing? i'm starting to produce beats with the MPD26 and i use Logic, fact is i want the old school sound that comes from the samples and that's why i don't want to play fake VST's but chop great samples

u need to download fxpansion guru off of btjunkie and get that real fill of a mpc drum machine it has alot of drum samples . i get most of my stuff off records and music old school downloads leave a comment bro and thank for askin

@gilljon26 if you right click the two arrows on the top left of your fpc, and hit empty you dont have to manually delete the stock sounds, just saves a lil time
