  • Instead of cutting little grooves, I was thinking of sanding down the plastic to get a frosted effect. I assume it would distribute the light more evenly. Any thoughts on that?

  • how do you wire them in your car? Do you run them in series with the headlights or run another circuit?

  • if you could show how you put it onto your reflector that would be appreciated

  • you cant always buy angel eyes for all cars ie i have a dodge avenger 08 and they dont make any other headlights than stock lights so videos like this help a lot

  • anyone know where to get the LED's?

  • @NJPiineapple radioshack has all parts needed

  • @Z33Z00 not the acrylic cylinder

  • wow thats amazing man

  • dud thats sick lol see if you can find a good way to do it for a 93 accord with projector headlight kit

  • but how did you get them in the headlight????

  • Very clever!

  • awesome dude ! thanks a lot for this tutorial :)

  • What you should do is make a silicone mold off those rings before you put the LEDs in that way in the future you could simply cast the rings out of clear resin instead of buying acrylic rod to make more sets

  • vids like this make the internet cool

  • ay bruh message me how much wld u charge 2 make me some nd send em 2 me

  • WOW THAT SUNSET PIC. IS AMAZING, NICE EYES 2.

  • @ dadovw haha couldnt have said it better @ delong5000 bwahahahah

  • do i buy these little inserts or should i get the CCFL racing ones, that include the xeon headlights and stuff.

  • You did a good job on this video. Its easy to understand, and almost anyone could do it. All except for the actual opening the headlight for installation. Thanks for this video upload. This inspires me to instead of using EL wire for my elantra posted from ... elantra gt xd mod forum

Instead of using EL wire, Ill custom fab rings for my high and low-beam. Now I wonder how to figure the proper size for a rig to make the High-beam ring. :D

  • wats the max volts they could handle....did you connect it to the car battery or is it a sepret source of power?

  • were did you get the led lights....cuz i bought some at radio

shack and they r not so bright

  • @dadovw at first i though this was going to turn out looking shity. but in the end i was actually impressed to see that it actually looks factory. good job bro.

  • fantastic!

  • i wanna ask from were i can get plastic bars??

  • I would rather spend 15 bucks and buy them ... but that's just me :D

  • za duzo pierdolenia.....

  • yeah where did you buy those bars? in a local hardware store?

  • where you get the bars

  • WOW! i'd pay you to make me sum

  • GENIUS !!!!!!

  • whats a angel eye?

  • @EatingMuffin

Angel eye's are those (Blue) lights in a circle..

  • @EatingMuffin

    they're special car lights^^

  • @EatingMuffin

thats the neon ring around the light, see it in 3:10

    sry, my english is bad^^

  • @EatingMuffin A tacky plastic accessory that improves the headlight function in no way. Currently, they are very popular and trendy, particularly on German imports. What most people do not know is that the concept has been around for over fifty years now.

  • @EatingMuffin the eye from angel

  • @EatingMuffin It's when you look into a Victoria Secret model's eyes

  • Where did you get the clear plastic tubing at? I am assuming you can get them at a hobby store?

Also what size led's did you use?3mm,5mm,etc...?

  • you have a car but you can't afford angel eyes?

  • @delonge5000

Why buy something what you can make by yourself .... i bet you pay for sex too..... LOL

  • @dadovw why always sex, you're not getting pussy or what? by that answer i can see that you're not a clever person..

    ANYWAYS

i was just saying that if you have an expensive car you should afford some factory made angel eyes. most of the viewers are watching this for fun, just like i'm watching kipkay.

    ok stupid?

  • @dadovw hahahahahahaha laughing my ass off lol

  • @dadovw Haha that was a good one! ;P Great Job on the lights mate!!!

  • @dadovw I like your video cause this comment, like a boss man!

  • @dadovw Agreed. Plus it's tons of braggin rights ;)

  • @delonge5000 its called a secondary sense of accomplishment...why support foreign industries when you can make it yourself and know that if something goes out, you know exactly how to repair it...these are pretty much gonna work until the cars scrap metal

  • do you have them wired through a toggle switch?

  • @delonge5000

I agree; the person has a BMW and can't afford the real product, how ghetto.

  • @delonge5000 For sum cars n bikes u can't find em, coz they don't fit, so u mold em by yourself n build Angels that fit your lens

  • Impressive and creative! However, I'm too lazy and will probably buy them at Bavarian Autosport for $149.00 lol! How much did the parts cost you?

  • @devenking When I maded them four my scooter parts cost about 15$!

  • from where i should find some clear plastic bars? in what compponents there are few?

  • I wouldn`t do it and buy some ready to plug in ones. But that is just because of the price, found some decent onetime discount, so thats why.

But definetly thumbs up from me. Nice, clean work, result looks promissing - well done

  • Looks good mate! :) Planning to make two of this for my motorcycle =)!

Someone already asked before but what's the proper name for those plastic bars?

    thanks

  • @Aatruss acrylic bars, or if i'm not mistaken light conductors bars :)

  • @flor33ntin Already found them on a webshop, thanks anyway mate :)

  • hey, excelent diy,

i have a doubt though, do you think this works better with flat top leds?

  • where did you get those plastic tubes?

  • @mistahx10 i just bought then on ebay. they are called "acrylic tube or bar"

  • i wonder if this will work for a e36

  • Hello, nice work dude!

please tell me whats the diameter of the plastic bars?

    tnks!

  • svaka cast care!

  • Resistance depends on the characteristics of the led you're using (Voltage and Current ) and power supply

    There's no "minimum nor Max"

  • thanks for the vid

  • where did you get plastic tudes from???

    Or whats there proper name???

  • Gde da nabavim diode druze? Ne znam ni kako da ih trazim.. I koliko kostaju?

  • Ma bravo kralju. Svaka čast.

  • Od čega si iskoristio plastične šipkice? Pozdrav iz BL.

  • do poloneza też tak można?;>

    Great idea!

  • which type of rod you to make the ring

  • can i make the ring separate and make a switch and a 3v button cell batterys and have my own connection instead of connecting to he car 12v?

  • compliments for the video very nice!!!

  • Very Impressive.

  • nice man nice

  • where to buy this rod

  • the pic at the sunlight is really great!!

  • Dang, Mad props for your angel eyes, nice car, and that sunset picture is amazing!

  • great video

  • hi umm quick question, when you say 390 OHM resistors, is that based on 12V car battery power? or the volts your headlights give?

  • @1D1E1M1O1N battery

  • @Jeffo1345 but doesnt the cars battery boost up to about 14.6 volts when the alternator runs becuz its charging the cars battery as the car is running.

  • @1D1E1M1O1N through the battery its regular voltage, from the alt. it would be 14.6 but after the battery its about 13. either way not a big deal.

  • @alskdjfhg0 oohh ok lol
