  • - Can You Use An Eye Pin ? Or Is It Like The Same Thing ?

  • really helpful :)

  • you can hook the earring finding to the loop before entirely closing it!!.hope i make sense.

    Its gonna be much easier

  • how old are u

  • They look WAY too stiff! Earrings should sway.

Anyone making this should try stringing one (or three) nice beads onto a headpin, then clip it and make a loop. Use an Eyepin and then string some more beads- cut and make another loop.

Attach the smaller set of beads underneath the larger set- since the headpin is on the bottom it will finish the bottom- attach to a fish hook and then it will sway and not look dead.

*Eye pins have an "eye" loop.

*Head pins have a flat base that stops the beads.

  • @BeyondBracelets When you make earrings, they won't sway unless you know how to make them. Which only earring companies know how to really...

  • @legendarymario3 My earrings sway and I'm not a company...

You just need to use eye pins and layer them properly... Like I said in the other post, you just add some beads to one piece and make loops on either side and then finish off the end with a headpin and another bead or so... then you add a loop to the headpin to it under the other beads. Viola, movement.

My paper bead earring tutorial has great movement, I haven't done the paper bead earrings yet but they too move a lot.

  • can u get the hed pins at joann's fabrics?

  • I love how you do your earrings! Next time, you should use different beads. That would be so cool! I'm about to post a video too on how to make dangling earring, too! For the record, I'm ten years old. I hope you enjoy my video too. Also, I'm using my mom's account here on youtube. Thanks for posting your video! I really enjoyed it!

  • Thanks I think they would have them at A.C. Moore so I'll check there!

  • wow this is amazing. do u have any ideas on what style i should do from a wedding?

  • Thanks. You could try using some more fancy beads like bicone swarovski crystal beads. They have a really sparkly look because it's faceted and cut in many angles. Or try some fake pearls or glass beads. There a million different options you can try. Hope this helps. :))

  • thanks but i make my earings with wire

  • you're amazing! thanks so much

  • Very nice... I just started making my own jewelry and so I am enjoying your tutorials. You're really easy to understand and follow. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  • very nice

  • sooo on the loop do you like just put it down the hole of the bead... or close to it?

  • No, you just close the loop so that it touches the first bead. It should look pretty much like a circle after you close the loop.

  • I love this video!!!

I so want to make some of these earrings

  • Thank you! If you want to learn how to make other kinds of jewelry, please subscribe to my channel. I make jewelry tutorials. I would really appreciate it. ^_^

  • I really like the earing you made i haven't made earing in a long time but i will have to give it a try also they have eye pins that have the loop on them they might be a little easyer to make b/c it has the loop on it

  • I was thinking about making earrings with eyepins instead of headpins one time, but I decided not to because I didn't want the loop to be showing on the bottom. Using eyepins doesn't make it easier because you still have to make a loop on the top to hang it from the earring hook. Eyepins are good when you want to make double dangle earrings because it saves time.

  • Cute! I've been making jewelry like that for a while now. I even sell mine.

You do yours a little bit diff that what i do. I never thought of opening the earring part and sliding the head pin on. I did it backwards. Next time i make one, i'll do it your way.

    Thanks! =)

  • Cool!
