Dark Skies was inspired and influenced by legendary The X Files but I must admit that Dark Skies was NO Less impressive and in some moments even better - intriguing, fast-paced, mysterious series. Eric Close and Megan Ward made a perfect screen couple. Besides X Files, the atmosphere of this series reminded me other tv shows of that time - The Pretender, La Femme Nikita, Millennium. They all were so underrated

it's a shame that this show didn't get more of a "push" from NBC. this was just another recent example of a series being greenlit and being yanked when it doesn't hit the top 20 overnight. the same thing happened with "surface", "bionic woman", and "space: above and beyond"; both of which should have gone to either syndication or sci fi channel and could have lasted for at least 3-4 seasons.

I though this was one of the best SciFi shows made, certianly better than X Files. Strange Luck was good too, but Nowhere Man was awesome. If you are like me you'll have noticed ALL our favorite shows get cancelled. We are too smart for our own good.

most people do not realize that this story is based on the truth.Satan is the aliens we have been battleing from the start of man kind on earth.We all look at the word satan and in our minds its a fictional creature with horns etc..But he is real and his name is not pronounced as we say it and is forbiden to be said cause saying his name will bring him to you.I know alot of you have caught on and know this to be true.When we learn who Satan is he must fight us cause then deception will be hard.
