Wide swings, low guard, this stuff looks like low-level slugfests. Hopefully they will learn from their relatively more mature and experienced mma counterparts.
@stardust005 its not mma,its just kickboxing in mma gloves done by guys who aret experienced at it yet as its so new.Its not karate though if the majority of whats practised is not in katas.
This is more realistic, but it's boring compare to no punching the head style games. Looks like everybody is trying to knock each other out by punching each other's head, so less kicks.
When punching the head is allowed, ppl tend to distance each other further, cause they are afraid of getting punched in the head. Also ppl tend to through less kicks, cause fights become faster pace. So, you see less knock out by kicks.
@nonaCbarC seems alot more boring watching to guys punching and kicking each others bodies with zero defense and just trying to prove who's tougher. only reason why there knocking each other out so fast is because they have horrible defense right now and there each just throwing haymakers as fast as they can. they'll get better eventually.
Not thaht good as it will be in the future. They must realize its not boxing its karate, so the punching should be different then in boxing. Gloves are smaller, with open hands. So uraken shuto, and a longer gard should be more practised as should distance. A good start for kyokushin thought!

Wow, almost nobody was defending their head.

@odjrin Not a big surprise considering that traditionally punches to the head aren't allowed in Kyokushin tournaments.

@Angel7black
Rules of fights determine style of fight. Contemplate this.

It is the "Kyokushin-kan" organization, founded and headed by Hatsuo Royama. They broke away from IKO1(Matsui) in 2002.
