  • angle of attack over límit... xD (RIP)

  • Statistics show that engine loss on a single is less fatal than that of a twin. With a single, you're committed to putting it down, flying in a straight line, hopefully maintaining airspeed. Any twin that's not a turbo-prop or pure jet (or in-line like a Cessna 337) has little chance of staying in the air after losing an engine with "trash out"...

  • looks to me like he lost an engine, began a turn, and fell below Vmc, lost rudder authority, so the wing with the good engine had much more lift causing the roll, and then the plane stalled(left wing stalled first causing the quick roll. This is really sad and sobering. Remember... on single engine ops... Airspeed over anything else. most people dont realize that a twin can barely fly with one engine, and that climbing while fully loaded is nearly impossible.

  • should never turn into the dead engine either

  • OMG. :O

  • aw shit... wawa nman...

  • wow

  • Low flight, low speed with twin engine? Bad idea. While turning he lost air flow over wings, lost speed even more and result: STALL. Unfortunately at low altitude cant recover. RIP and condolence to family

  • Sounds like gunshots about 10 seconds before the plane rolls to the left and loses power. Maybe it was shot down out of the sky....."Jagar"

  • @ausfuhrpramienjagar those "pops" werent gunshots... they were backfires from the failing engine. I've heard this same thing first hand, but luckily, the pilot managed to land straight ahead in a field off the end of the runway and everyone survived.

  • pana-panahon lang yan!!!

  • I remember this plane crash last year on December.. I was riding my motorcycle at Better Living subdivision in Pasay to go to work then i noticed a plane flying too low and I hear some explosions (I think its coming from the plane's engine). so I stopped to take a look at it then the saddest thing just happens.. it crashed right on a school! i heard it on news that there were children that died too on that plane crash. no one knows what happened cos the blackbox was destroyed into pieces

  • Horrifying. RIP

  • flashback of singer Aaliyah

  • He probably overshot the turn. You can se the rudder deflecting while slow and in a turn (exactly how you cause a spin), and that caused the spin. Thats what I think.

  • Always fly a twin as if you have already lost an engine. Don't fly low and slow, don't lower flaps and/or gear until the time you would on one engine, and always have a plan. Hope those words keep me alive.

This video make me shiver. The feeling of a twin on one engine is a horrible one, the sight of the possible consequence so much worse.

  • nobody knows what really happened up there, so please stop blaming the pilots. nobody wanted to die this way. i personally know the pilot, he is a family man with 2 kids. he will not risk his life flying this plane if he is not well-trained with it. please give respect to the people who died as well as to their families.. thank you.

  • This Whole scene was FAKE!! I sure hope that if you watched this you did not believe it was a real crash!! I have creditable sources that tell be the whole scoop on this cut!!

  • @dolan008 hahaha, you talk about credible sources. You can't even spell it.

  • @Karl0010 is this a spelling contest?

  • It can be if you like.

  • It has been said that after an engine failure in a GA light twin, the remaining good engine will always carry you to the scene of the accident. There's a reason they have two engines, because it doesn't fly well on one...

  • I had that kind of emergency for real about 6 times in almost 7,000 hours. I have students that have also landed safely. I Hope someone you say is not a Chicken Pilot crashes like this video over your kids elementary school and kills 13 like this GUY did. Call me names for hating Pipipilots like you? THINK about what bad pilots like this can do to your neighborhood before insulting the critics of these pricks with a pilot license. I have seen crashes like this and helped in removal bodies.GFYS.

  • CFITOMAHAWK: You are correct, the Pilot just was not fast enough to get on top of the engine failure. He allowed it to get way out of control with his airspeed and a turn that was bound to kill.

BUT the accident investigation is showing some big time screw ups on fuel, and maintenance. Follow up on the reports.

  • Failure to compensate for the yaw of the engine that failed.yaw induced spin.

  • As a pilot and owner of a 1968 Beech Queen Air (A65-8200) with more than 19,000 hours on it's airframe, this is an aircraft that absolutely must be respected. It is not a Barron or Cessna twin. The pilot was at fault for loss of control, may be true, but the records of maintenance and the fuel being used, I feel have a lot more to do with the crash than the pilot.

  • @markhalden

So you will do the same as this pilot on your old Queen Air? Sounds like you are the kind that wants to blame the mechanics for this Chicken Pipilot stalling the airplane. Old things are bound to fail and not been ready or man enough to handle the plane in a take off emergency like that merits pulling your license DUE YOU WILL KILL THE SAME WAY. Notice I don't give a hoot if you are the owner or not. Owners have the worst accident record in USA GA. Hire a man to fly it.

  • He lost his number #1? hard to tell from video. Definitely banked too deep for the speed he was flying.

  • 32 seconds at the philippines

  • never turn towards a failed engine. the pilot should have turned right as he lost his #1.

  • 3 in plane, 11 on ground

  • Human error... 14 people lost there dreams.

  • My buddy went to pilot school with this pilot and became good friends with him and his family. What happened is his left engine died, you can see it start to bank to the left because of it. What he should have done at that point is step on the right rudder. Instead you see him sharply step on the left rudder causing the roll.

  • the people who witnessed the crash were like "ooh WOW!" what the?

  • Malapit lang samin to. Dun ako malapit sa Manhattan villas nakatira, kitang kita yung usok!

  • RIP to those victims of this accident

  • poor them hope their okay!

  • pilot error at CAAP error yan... 30-50 flying hrs lng ang captain in command .. mas marming oras pa ung F.O. ... if the left engine fails he must turn the rudder right then increase the right engine trotle to make a climb to1k-2k feet then make an emergncy landing.... malas lng nataranta ung piloto

  • @Ohgamie The appeared to be flying very slowly, perhaps at or below Vmc. Therefore, increasing power on the good side would have been the wrong thing to do.

  • @sgabriel pano k makapag climb if wla ka sapat n power?... pagincrease ng power xmpre sbayan mo ng ruder pra hnd mag stall at mag spin ... prcdures n yan prang recovery for stall... as u stall level ur nose then increase power tama ba un?

  • it's real and it's in the news..left engine failure..but pilot still decided to take a left turn instead of increasing his altitude..low altitude+engine failure=tragedy..

  • grabe may sira talaga yung makinang eroplano!

  • @OHMYGOSHNOM It isn't like the movies where things blow up on impact as if they had micro-switch on the nose of the plane. Sufficient fuel has to have reached a source of ignition before it will explode, rarely is it instantaneous. As for the pop, well that's just the distance from the crash site and speed of sound coming into effect.

  • it looks as though it stalled and if we go by the video, he had less than five seconds to react amd rectify the situation. If you think you could do better, then go up there and try it, but dont say that it is pilot error, when you dont understand that there was nothing he could do about it.

  • Comment removed

  • @s3nyorita It most likely was pilot error, however, the reason for this accident would not permit the pilot to maintain a strait heading. Even if they could have landing in water generally has a high risk of fatality.

  • Parang mission impossible..Ako dun :P

  • WTF...Muntik nko mamatay dun...Kunting kunti nlng mababagsakan nko! Think's to god! naka-takbo pako..I feel so sad sa mga hindi umabot!!!..Amen R.I.P!

  • @PilExtremeGT sayang d ka pa nabaksakan.... joke..

  • Did it stall?

  • wada03cute paano ako naging tanga? seriously you should think before you say shit about other people. search it before there wasnt a lot of homeowner when they built the airport so mastanga ka, i grew up in multinational kaya manahimik ka putangina mo ka

  • receprocating engine

  • If you ask me it looks like a skidding stall. You could see it buffett just before it rolled. You could also see additional rudder inputs to start it skidding just before the left wing stalled.

  • To all those calling into question the age of the aircraft, any brand new twin engine airplane can have the same thing happen. It's called a Vmc (velocity, minimum controllable) roll. If you have an engine failure and the airspeed is below Vmc, the plane will not be controllable. Unfortunate pilot errors... first, letting the plane get that slow; once the roll started the only save is to cut the working engine and regain control.

  • @ggoodknight In addition, there was a sound of sputtering in the video that could be the engine failing.

  • @ggoodknight You are absolutely right. I am currently flying light twin aircraft. Vmc is the slowest speed at which directional control is still possible. Engine failures below this speed ensure loss of directional control if not "IMMEDIATELY" corrected for. In this case there was probably a breakdown in corrective action procedures.

  • @ggoodknight: Definately the aircraft seems preety slow may b below Vmc!!! N did u notice one more thing... The pilot banks the aircraft towards dead engine!!! Which is very dangerous ofcourse... If its a cocktail of these two things then its an disaster!!! N abt controlling out of spin... Aircraft is too low to control... It seems to be arnd 500-700 feet...At that altitude with a spin only god could have helped them... R.I.P. to all the departed souls!!!!

  • @ggoodknight At that altitude you cannot lose control like that and think you will regain it before hitting the ground. You cannot lose control, period.

I can hear the engine popping and failing to the stall, that means they didn't feather it, I don't see the left engine failing required 5 degree to right bank that could have prevent airspeed lost. That pilot Fear Frozed, instead of flying it like a man. I teach that maneuver since the 1980's. This is what happen to bad pilots.

  • @CFITOMAHAWK cocky sob aren't you?

  • @midgetwidget

IRather be called A Cocky Pilot because I practice the hard stuff than a

Dam Chicken Pilot. If I was the second, I could have died 30 years ago for been what you are. Chicken Pilots like the one in the video end up killing as you see here.

WITH PILOTS LIKE THAT YOU DON'T NEED TERRORIST AROUND AIRPORTS.

  • @CFITOMAHAWK

Chicken Pilots, Not a man..?? and you call yourself a CFI? seriously? You need your head examined friend. That "holier than thou" attitude your putting out there is equally dangerous to GA. Amazing a student would have room in the cockpit with your ego in there.

  • @tc223

No I won't sign off Pipipilots like you. Go find a Crooked CFI that will. Maybe you will hear and find the one that signed off the Pipipilot on this video. I'm sure that CFI will be quite famous by now. Thats the kind of CFI you like, Crooksucka. They are prosecuting everyone that had to do with that flight. The families of those killed women and children want blood revenge. Some are on the run. Its a criminal shame what they did via careless operation, then run awaylike chichens

  • omg! was there anyone killed??

  • @xxlushedenxx ... -__- no they all walked away un-harmed

  • @zPeeNuT... ok

  • @xxlushedenxx omg! when would people start reading video descriptions?

  • @meldeebueno.... shut up!!!u dont have to read descriptons, u cant force me :P

  • @xxlushedenxx 14 people died including the pilot, passengers, and children.. cos it crashed right on school..

  • ang sarap mamatay mga vintage na ginagamit pa kasi putang inang gubyerno ng Pilipinas palaboy ilang buhay pa ba ang dapat mawala...

  • patakag comment murag kabalo unsang hinungdan

  • they are now verifying information the plane was carrying extra fuel to its destination in Mindoro when it crashed.

That we have to verify. (But) that is not allowed. That is a dangerous move. There are many accidents attributed to unauthorized cargo like that,

  • looks like he was climbing out, lost an engine, kicked in rudder which worked for a little, then either the rudder cable broke?, couldnt hold it with aileron alone at full power, got over whelmed, didnt cut power, right side engine accelerated the possibility and rate of a spin to the left, and boom.

  • Looks like Vmc to me. Sounds like there is a major problem with one of the engines, and then too steep of a turn, increasing Vmc. Should have widened his pattern for shallower turns on base and final, and came in high for a power idle approach to prevent Vmc. Very sad. Hard to say what actually happened, we weren't in there. The NTSB will tell.

  • @RandySRT I had hours with this type of aircraft, and had simulated engine out, you actually feel how the airplane leap forward when you feather the prop.feathering the prop is very important to reduce drag and counter the yaw. im thinking maybe the right engine is not working properly also, and it is the one making the popping sound therefore they dont have enough trust, add all the drag on the left prop equals spin.

  • @skipper1ify if the engine failed, then it should be feathered. I was simply saying that the correct action for him, once he became stalled, would be to pull power to idle to recover with only a single engine and below Vmc then pitch down to build airspeed. However, he didnt have enough altitude to do that. Only the NTSB will tell.

  • yea sir I am a pilot...

  • "woo WOW"

  • Fake!

  • parang alam na alam na may magcra-crash :))

  • balita ko nangyari yan PASADO ALAS DOS KAHAPON KANINA. TAMA BA AKO

  • garabe talaga ng yare !!! ahist !

god sana maka recover ang lahat !

  • O.O

  • sOoo Sad kawawa nmn ng mga tao na nadamay T_T

  • RIP to our ex-classmate/friend who died from the accident. :(

  • whats the pilots name dude?

  • stalled plane? or lost an engine maybe?

  • @OutlawGamer101 spin like that is a result of either of the wings stalling first.you can see clearly the drastic fall of the airplane.all crashes is a result of multiple chain of events. on this case, loss of left engine and a stall leading to a deadly dutch roll.the spin could have been avoided.full mixture and full power on the good remaining engine, little right bank and right rudder to compensate for the yaw, flaps up gear up and feather the prop of the problematic engine to reduce drag.

  • beautiful explanation..r u a pilot. i am..

  • @skipper1ify yup that's what I thought. sounds to be the engine was detonating or backfiring, usually caused by low octane or contaminated fuel. But why didn't the pilot detect problems right before take-off? Wouldn't he have noticed the problem while on full-throttle and full-brake and could have aborted the take-off?

  • @AccordGTR its definitely bad mixture, im pretty sure both engines are working fine on take off, as surely the pilot could have aborted take off. my guess is that maybe the problem with the engine occurred when they started leaning the mixture entering 2000 AGL.crash site was in better living, meaning they took off at runway 13,sure they have reached pass 2000 AGL at this point at a normal climb rate.strange though why the pilots didnt engage the procedures as the left prop is still rotating...

  • @skipper1ify cant spin without being stalled, and if you are operating with a single engine and stall, the power should go to idle, otherwise you would Vmc, which is what it looks like to me.

  • @RandySRT definitely they dont have sufficient speed, what im thinking is that maybe even the right engine is not working properly and this is the one producing the popping sound.because queen air can fly comfortably with one engine.but still it is strange why the pilot didnt feather the prop of the left engine as surely there was a lot of drag on that prop.

  • @OutlawGamer101 Yea the engine just took off to the opposite direction.

  • panoorin nyo po ito and leave a comment, hindi ko makaya ang ginagawa ng taong ito, kung tao nga bang matatawag

    /watch?v=UfV-OAoEzOs&list=PL36E52F076229A0E1&index=1&feature=plpp_video

  • They obviously lost an engine and the pilot did not feather the prop of the bad engine in time to control the asymetric yaw. The aircraft hits Vmc (speed of minimum control) and dutch rolls into an uncontrollable spin.

  • @SimSamurai yap u can see the left prop stil rotating. queen air can fly comfortably with 1 engine.on engine failure- full mixture, full throttle, dead rudder to counter the yaw, then feather the engine.scan for oil leaks or fire. if u cant re-start the engine, then radio for emergency landing. On the video u can see clearly that the left wing stalled.

  • pang may problem sa gas ng engine kase parang pumupugak!

  • IS THAT IN THE PHILIPPINES?

  • @jaonthairobber666 Yes! :(

  • is it strange that i like seeing planes crash?

  • shittt!!!! :o

  • air pockets guys

  • FAKE daw. FAKE daw. Bakit ganun? Lagi nlng may negative... hahaha. Make your own vid bro. Tip ko sa nagcocomment ng FAKE. Gamitin mo Adobe After Effects. hahaha. Gawa ka naman. EROPLANO na Bumagsak sa MOA. Tapos Magcocomment din kmi ng FAKE. ahahahahaha.

  • @jerocortidor engot

  • PILOT ERROR

  • @DuckYou25 How do you know that? The aircraft had lost an enginge

  • woah... wat da...

  • reminds me of battlefield 3 jet..

  • @irontFistMayden meron na ba bf3?

  • @psuedomonas1 since october 25 pa...release na pc , xbox and ps3

  • ganito pala matisod ang eroplano

  • gravity wins!!!*

  • Yes I think they were just recording the flights of plane just for fun. They were focusing a different plane in the first few seconds of this video. But it is too small to notice. The crashing plane could have been circling the area for a while already before it crashed, because that area is not the usual path of departing/arriving airplanes.

  • a airplane? hahahaha

  • flying is still the safest way of travel... but not this kind of aircraft.

  • aerodynamic failure ?? to close to the nap of the earth?

  • Nice time to film a airplane

  • @1rebelblood a airplane? hahaha

  • I used to work in a passenger airlines and someone asked me why i am working as a flight attendant its dangerous .. ive answered why not? if your going to die in an aircraft you will die in an aircraft. ... if it is meant to be it will happen, even if youre at home ..... my prayers for the victims and the pilots.

  • Ang bobo mo nmn! di mo nlng inintay ang the end of the world :)

  • ano??

  • ayows ahh,

  • pano nakunan nang video ang isang ACCIDENT?

  • @MrSkyflakes18 madaming sagot jan, maybe kinunan nila just for fun ung eroplano tapos biglang nagcrash LOL

  • They'll be fine, I use to do this in GTA: San Andreas all the time.

  • @UrbanMoleman Haha, same.

  • That explosion you saw at the end killed 14 people... kinda chilling to think about that.

  • yun pala ang nangyari
