  • Very cool. Will definately turn heads lol. will buy this!

  • iv got the 8ball cruiser 2. it is SO fun! AND so practical for getting around town. so much quicker than walking or getting the bus. I had doubts when ordering, but its one of the best things iv ever blown money on. weight is the only downside, but im getting used to that. some people say longboards, or electric boards aren't real skateboards cos you can't do tricks, but they are two different things, meeting two different requirements, these get you somewhere, and quick!

  • how fast do they go

  • Lazy piece of crap go die in a hole

  • Enter Harrods with that thing

  • @FreeSmileysHere I probably will.

  • 500 dollar right ?

  • as if you acctually just did that you mental bastard i love u

  • Comment removed

  • How much are these things? I wouldn't use it for transportation, but it does look fun!

  • that's awesome I want one!

  • Mine is 600 watt Lithium ion , tons of lights and I love it...25 mile range and not all flats either...great fun!

  • @williamsingleto Could you let me know which model that is. Thank you.

  • @asweeatsugar ....mine is the 600 watt EMAD sidewalk surfer. I upgraded to Lithium Ion batteries. It has a 40 mile range and goes 20 mph. I use it to get to work and I have been for 4 months. No breakdowns or complaints. This is an awsome design and very durable. I save $100+ each month from not using my car hardly at all. I love it! You get used to it real quick too; just start out slow and you will be comfortable in no time.

  • @williamsingleto Thanks a bunch, I do a lot of commuting on my longboard already but this could certainly up my range. Your set up sounds the most legit of the ones of come across.

  • vespas are still better

  • ...that is so badass! XD

  • whats the battery life on that thing?

  • This board is a lead acid typicaly 10 /12 miles on the flats

  • What was the cameraman driving?

  • same skate electric board 600 W....

  • @skateelectricnik Cool! Thanks for replying :)

  • how heavy is it? cuz if its something you can carry around then i might buy this

  • Ths board is 22 kg;s -the new Lithium boards are around 12 kgs!!

    @ManlyMcBuff

  • hah, all very good but crash = immediate death

  • Saying this is "Lazy" is pretty stupid. It's like commenting on a video of a motorcycle and saying "this is so stupid, just get one with pedals" A regular skateboard can't go 20 miles an hour, and it's really comparing two completely different things.

  • you must piss off a lot of drivers with that!

  • ekaykay.com for electric skateboard

  • ekaykay.com for electric skateboard

  • but but but i waaaannt one

  • Electricity is worse than emissions. Making batteries causes a lot more probles. Where do most of the old batteries go, a land fill. Its a little better to use solar panels to charge your boards but the more batteries built the worse that land gets because of the lead and acid. The same thing goes for Hybrids and electric cars.

  • @pyscobrand batteries are recycled.

Lead Acid especially are COMPLETELY recycled.

  • @pyscobrand or, you could get a longboard if you want something for commuting.

  • @pyscobrand you know, instead of being lazy.

  • This video makes me want to crap on your website!

  • Why dont you get a regular skateboard and actually get exercise? Shit like this is why people are so fat nowadays

  • i wanted one and these guys were selling them but they wanted 600 bucks

  • are they road legal ?

  • This is cool but I don't think I'd have the balls to go skating around London on a little piece of wood ahead of ten ton buses and whatever else; very brave!

  • Umm Nop I wasn't... N

  • other than the helmet, was he wearing any other protection??

  • m8 that is the funniest thing ever, omg imagine a elestic skateboard rally in the centre of london haaaa

  • @519mac imagine the future just everybody on electric skateboards in big busy cities :P

  • i dont know what should i buy,electric skateboard,or an usual skateboard???

Whats the price of electric skateboard

  • 600-800

  • thx

  • urr, depending of the type, 8ball boards sell electric skateboards at over £400 bit their cheapest its under £200 but can't go off road?

  • thats 2.800 kn,kn is valoute in croatia

  • Just bought me an electric skateboard... Woo! Hopefully me preferred method of transportation between Charing Cross and Warren St. after I jump off the train. Aleshamahon - they have an in-built antilock brake (although stopping distance can still be a couple of metres depending on how fast you're going).

  • but how r u going to store it somewhere? its so heavy and it's long. i go to school so i cant put it in my locker.

  • office?

  • @AceOfPies were did you buy one?

  • @XLRO8 it was an amazon job - but that was a year ago now! Since then the battery has given up on me, although they're only meant to last about a year. It served me well though, and saved me a lot of bus fares. I'm checking out new models now, but may wait until spring to buy another one - I won't get too much use of it over winter.

  • did you ever get hit by a buss riding like that?

  • How would this deal with a pot -hole (small wheels), pedestrian jumping out (no brakes), carrying anything other than a briefcase? - an electric bicycle or scooter/motorbike is far more superior and versatile + you can sit!

  • Cool video!

  • i whould buy one but 630$ is how much i can save in about 2-3 years... ;[

  • "zero emissions" - that's not really true. You don't reduce the emissions , you just move it from one place to other (your skateboard didn't charge itself out of air).

  • There are zero tail pipe emissions. The electricity used should be sourced from a green energy supplier (ideally). Of course this will mean CO2 will have to be factored in at the production end but at least we eliminate CO2 emissions with the actual transport method.

Of course solar charge is the way forward, but that will happen down the line... Great transport concept though, don't you think?!..........

  • yup,

concept and the video are 5/5 ;)

I can't skateboard however:( But I can snowboard, so I'd rather wait for an electric/gas freebord instead.

    greetz

  • @gienadi well yea, but all you need to fix that problem is get your power from a green energy source

  • this thing is 630 dollars over the internet with 45 dollars shipping

  • is it legally to skate on the road?? or is it like bicycle on the road, same rules? good video :)
