Hi @MettePeleikis - yes I do sleep with them in. It's not painful at all and after you have worn a set for a few hours you really can't feel they are there! :)
Each one (of the thirty one) adjusters moves it a millimeter or so? So... your teeth moved thirty one millimeters? You might want to see another orthodontist. :P
I'm a fairly new patient as well. I will share that it is common for headaches to occur as you reach the 3rd or 4th tray, usually the pain subsides after a few hours. Otherwise you have the option to take generic pain killers. Tylenol, advil, or aleve.
