  • To shuffle a deck back to its original box order is beyond hard. Seriously its insane

  • I was fooled by only one person...Micheal Vincent!

  • what a sweet game to be the host of...

  • fuck...

  • this guy is brilliant

  • The power of the internet:

    Rang in a cooler:

Swapping out a deck where the order of cards has been lost, with a pre-arranged (cooler) deck.

  • Truly, the most incredible card routine I have ever seen in my life. Now, to figure it out by scouring youtube.

  • This so beautiful. So beautiful.

    But I don't understand something.

Penn said that this was done without a trick deck... however, he "Rang in a Cooler"... I know what it means to ring in a cooler, but can I only assume that using a trick deck and ringing in a cooler are two different things? Someone help me out here.

  • @JenRageify It's why he called it cryptic double talk. He was stating what he thought without giving away the trick itself.

I think what he meant was that he switched decks at some point.

  • @Urchie2009 Oh right! Of course. That makes sense now, double talk.

That's what I thought. I imagined that it was a trick deck, because of the whole ring in a cooler business. Plus, it's damn incredible to be able to shuffle the cards so they appear in that order. Thanks.

  • @JenRageify No problem. And it does seem like it's a trick deck but even Penn admits-this is what a man can do with just his hands a regular deck of cards.

And god damn does he do an amazing job with this trick!

  • @Urchie2009 That's very true. Plus, decades of practice. It's all very mind boggling.

    You're right! He's mesmerising.

  • @JenRageify ring in a cooler just means to switch in a stacked or prepared deck.

  • @newtubeusername Yeah, I know. That's why Penn's choice of words made me a little confused, seeing as he said something like "without using a trick deck".

  • those card tricks are seriously jaw dropping. unbelievable skill!

  • That was incredible, and masterfully done. The guy seemed genuinely a very, very gracious person, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him.

And yet I still must say that a simple "card trick" isn't something that would fool Penn and Teller. Simply because nearly every card trick ever is simply sleight of hand, and if an audience goes into a trick expecting sleight of hand and fancy card placement, it'll be hard to convince them otherwise.

  • it was kind of obvious how the 4 aces where thurnerd over. ive just learned a trick which uses that.

  • I went to his magic shop !!

  • I love his magic and the way he talk.

  • only thing i got was the ace of hearts changing to ace of clubs but i dont know how he got the ace of clubs to the place it was :P

  • I love the sheer appreciation shown in teller's nod at 4:01

  • what would happen if penn had a sore throat and couldnt speak?

  • @TheDeclan99 he has a notebook were he puts down his notes LOl

  • i want to hands!

  • How nice of him to give both Penn and Teller eye contact.

  • @wsemenske

    rude but funny lol

  • @wsemenske

    lmfao!

  • i saw everything he did and thought "this dude sucks." until he put the aces back on top and everything after.

  • he had me fooled from the start i still dont know which way he was looking

  • he has got bloody quick hands

  • Best card trick, that I've ever seen!

  • What kind of sorcery is this? Oo

  • Can i ask NOONE try and solve how he did it! and if you did keep it to yourself because i know i don't want to know the secret.. i just loved the trick.

  • @Kodkody knowing how he did this trick only makes it more impressive. this guy is like the dai vernon of our generation. classic close up magic is the purest (and my absolute favorite) form of magic.

  • Michael Vincent is a unbelievable magician!

  • they need this show in USA

  • Thats not sleight of hand, thats black magic! No magician is that good... See all the masonic hand gestures at the times below (2.22 2.51 5.51 6.01 8.31 8.34 8.48 8.49)

Burned at the stake? Bowing to a higher power? Coincidence? Far from it....

  • @msroches Masons don't have "magic" They're against it. And the "masonic" hand gestures are actual natural form the hand makes when someone uses cards, magic or not. You know nothing of the masons or magic.

  • @msroches i think u mean satanic, i see where ur coming from, but these are actual tricks that anyone can do with practice

  • Like his talking while perfroming. Great style

  • At 5:43 the Card seems to blink, never seen that trick before

  • I'm just asking myself how the fuck he did this !?!?

  • @CoonarStreetmagic midnight shift = posh word for 'turn over' =)

  • He could finally fix that eye...

  • @gmidropout1 lol. that's mean.

  • Is there a deck switch?

  • @MirageCards yes, thats what "rang in the cooler" means in magician lingo

  • @TheNamesWolf Thanks, I wasn't sure

  • you can see pen and teller at 1:54

  • boring and cheesy

  • @doaralmeu not a true fan of magic then you probably prefer Chris angel? haha it makes me laugh how terrible he is.

  • @KazzyEss2k9 when i said "boring and cheesy" i meant his storytelling and showmanship, demeanor, charisma and captivating (un)ability. The slick of hand, the technic and speed were great. But i prefer the whole package. As for Chris Angel, i don't like emo's in general...:-)

  • "I can trick em" teller- "naaahh"

  • i love this tv show so much. real talent. no sop stories.

  • I saw some of the things he did, a zarrow towards the end and I saw how he did some of his changes. However, just because I saw some moves doesn't mean that I could do this myself. I didn't sewe all moves and some things are just amazing. Absolutely wonderfully performed.

  • 3:10 he turns his cards around???

  • @CrypticSorcerer no actually he did a midnight shift.

  • His sleight of hand skills are flawless.

  • his pass is incredible

  • 9:07 is that Simon from the Yogcast?

  • Comment removed

  • That was pretty awesome. I like that guy.

That being said, I would never fuckign play a game of cards with him.

  • I know how to do that and im not a magician. U can find it online if u know where to look.

  • absolutely fascinating. this man is more than a magician.

  • That guy was phenomenal at sleight of hand.

  • His eye freaks me out o.o

  • @thejerber44 Maybe it's for mis-direction.

  • i saw him perform this trick 10 years ago, it is what inspired em to become a magician

  • That man represents everything that is true and pure about magic, what every magician should aspire to become.

  • so amazing. so so amazing

  • Very cool colour changes, all routine was very smooth.Nice job.But man,if you just wanted to meet P&J and perform 4 the audience, great, you really have something to show, but if you wanted to really fool two profi magicians you should've came with something YOU invented, not with a classic card magic trick/s.

  • Classic it might be but a world class close-up card magic fore sure. His performance in the sleights and showmanship was perfect.

  • wow i just found out about this show and it is awesome. penn and teller are awesome and jonathan ross is hilarious

  • Dat reaction 2:21

  • I love this performer so much.

  • like a boss

  • they only explained half the trick!

  • @basioh1818 it was just a lot of trickery! when he said sleight of hand, he wasnt lying, it was just a lot of fancy fingerwork

  • While it is possible to figure out how he did each part of the trick, it is impossible to phantom how someone could get this good at doing it.

  • I'm not talking to you, i'm talking to that squirrel over there...

  • This is Awesome we don't we have it in the US

  • Michael Vincent = class act.

  • Wow such mastery, what a talent!

  • Why can't we have classy blacks like this in America?

  • @kerpalh haaaaa:) and you thaught we were a binch of homosexual tea drinkers:)

  • @xxwilliam1998xx what are you trying to say? That Britain is full of homosexual tea drinkers? That the guy is a homosexual tea drinker? That blacks are homosexual tea drinkers?

  • @kerpalh Do you know what the Crips do in their hangouts?

They sit around drinking tea and being generally homosexual.

  • @kerpalh no im saying that alot of americans think we sit down all day drinking tea but we dont

  • Give him a vegas show anyway!

  • Michael Vincent is bad ass! I want to get his dvd's This is what magic is all about.

  • This guy gave me tingles!

He reminded me why I love magic!

And I don't care if he is way older then me, I so want to date him!

  • This guy seems like one of the nicest people ever

  • Black Sartre in da haus

  • Guy a 1:14 with a "Flynn Lives" shirt... awesome.

  • I've never found card/coin tricks amusing. They're just that - tricks. I'm a fan of "bigger" illusions.

  • I wasn't impressed iv been doing magic a year and i could do everything he done

  • @FAMOUSxMODDER If you can do so much as an invisible pass as well as him let alone the deck switch, false shuffles, or (most importantly) have as much stage presence as him i'll eat my top hat

  • Best i have seen.....i almost wanted to stand up and give him a round of applause

  • but can he unhook a bra

    ..with one hand!

  • yeah..it sucks because he says he's classic. The classic styles consist of 5 moves in-which have 30 variations. And Penn & Teller are not trying to be entertained, they are just waiting for a variation. :(

  • you're*

  • The dislike button is as big as justin biebers genitals.

  • @wiebman no its as large as your creativity

  • @EziosDisciple Your overestimating it jb big time

  • 3.55 -3.57 aces go back in the back this guy is good it took me about 10 mins to fing that

  • "...we should burn you at the stake"

    *oh you look*

    LoL

  • if i was that good with cards it scam vegas lol

  • That was fuckin epic, Penn and Teller looked pretty impressed!

  • how do i learn this routine where do i start looking ?? this is awsome!!!

  • The concepts this guy is using has been in magic for decades and would never ever fool penn and teller. Shit it didnt even fool me. I respect the guy though because he knows what he's doing and he handles it very well.

  • That was some good handling, but the last part was pretty much just a triumph trick and I don't think it will fool Penn & Teller much.

  • this dude was pretty tremendous, good shit.

  • His hands are more talented then my enitre citys' worth of people. bra-fucking-vo sir!

  • no no rang in the cooler means he lost his cell phone but he found it in the ice box because it rang while in the cooler

  • @Slashtap3 LOL fcking perfect man. i bow to your superior timing.

  • Part of the problem with being old school is that experienced colleges can recognize your tricks.

'course, they're not the ones who make you famous, so who cares?

  • this show is great!

  • He must be awesome at solitaire.

  • Can I say Holy F***

  • I loved it because he's such a classic gentleman of a magician. His handwork was flawless. But when he makes the aces disappear he over exaggerated the movement of the last cards they were hidden under.

  • 1:27 - "I wonder if that's a trick sleeve."

WHAT?! Who wears trick sleeves?? Do they even exist? I think it would have been better if he said something along the lines of how Penn and Teller are amazing magicians and perhaps rubbing the two halves of the deck on their sleeves may have the effect of some magic rubbing off on the cards- oh would you look at that, red aces ladies and gentlemen!!

But this was amazing and I love absolutely love his style of magic.

  • 3:03 - 3:06 You can watch him flip the deck around for the next SoH trick.

  • This is why he's one of the world's best.

  • this guy is really great at his trick no doubt about it, 40 years of practice is really hardwork. but he should have known better that the focus of this show is to fool penn and teller. with classic magic tricks, its definitely not going to fool them

  • @hironyx he might not have fooled penn and teller, but he performed on national television. It's a win win situation.

  • @Singsonggirl twice!

  • @Singsonggirl there was only one win there :P

  • WTF HOWD HE DO THAT LOL

  • This guy's hands are faultless.

  • i feel like im been converted....

  • is america makeing money from this i mean the make in in uk but then exspect us to let them in to vegas in to free or is it a joke and they let them go to vegas but just drop them off and drive awaay like hell.

  • @IPRANKTheFool Oh man, you really have no idea how things work; do you?

  • @IPRANKTheFool Everyone knows vegas is owned by the mafia, so no. Neither the uk or the us is making money but the mafia.

  • I want to be this guy's best friend.

  • dude i don't care if i practiced from when i was 6, handing teller a deck of cards and doing a trick right in front of him. man that takes balls.

  • "Rang in the cooler" = Alternated one deck for another (the latter being stacked in a specific order).

  • @teezhay but at what point and how nobody saw it?

  • @teezhay i was wondering what the hell you were talking about until the very end

  • @teezhay When did he switch it? Did the camera's cut away?

  • @teezhay I get that, but I still cant spot whwn he switched the decks. Is it right on camera cut? 5:46 ?

  • @bukowski1950 you are so wrong, he uses one deck the whole time ;-) watch closer on his shuffles

  • This dude looks pinned I think he did a bag of H before this performance.

  • @jas16899 So what?? Jesus dude leave him be, if he did he did!

  • all he was missing was to shazzam out of the place. lol.

  • Damn those coolers!

  • classic case of crazy eyes!

  • 2:07 u can see him with the red ace in tehe deck

  • This is mastery of the basics.

    But still. Great soh

  • His false shuffle is visible.......

  • @luuminhvuong

It's visible to US, thanks to the different angles we're getting. this act is performed for the people sitting next to him, it's not designed for people watching from an overhead view or the like, as we where.

if you where sitting next to him, you wouldn't have seen shit.

slight of hand and the like is ALL about angles.

  • @Criminalupper2200 I agree that laymen will not know what happened.

anyway he did everything perfectly, smoothly, but to me he came across as a arrogant magician who just wanna show off his skillse

  • @Criminalupper2200 Actually, if you notice, the camera uses different angles to hide his slide of hand. For instance, when he "rang in the cooler" (switching his deck for a deck that has been put in a specific order, 4:41) he shoots it up his right sleeve, and drops the ordered deck, does a trick or two, unbuttons his jacket (4:51) and drops the old deck into his pocket. This is hidden from view because the camera pans across someones head at the exact moment he drops it into his pocket.

  • I think Penn and Teller were bored to death......he performed all the classic things and expected them to be fooled?

    ironic

  • @luuminhvuong

They aren't bored, they are concentrating. they are examining his technique and skill. each was focused in on one of his hands for the entire time. it was concentration, not boredom.

  • This guy's handling is phenomenal. Totally classic handling, he's old school to the end, and like the saying, there's no school like old school. This guy's awesome.

  • @takimeta yeah..it sucks that he doesn't go to Vegas, because he says he's classic. The classic styles consist of 5 moves in-which have 30+ variations. And Penn & Teller are not trying to be entertained, they are just waiting for a variation. :(

  • His quick slight of hand is impressive (classic), but I found his speech at the end the most inspiring.

  • He done all the trick with one deck but at the end ... 'Ring in a cooler' means that he switched decks.. in this case a pre-set deck ( not sure if this was the switch but have a look when he fusses with his waistcoat ) beautiful trick though !

  • how does he do that?

  • What an ace!

  • beautiful handling!!

  • Hes such a nice person.

  • ring in a cooler = switch a deck

  • With a routine like his I don't really want to know exactly how he did it. I'm happy to just admire his performance.

  • Those were some beautiful color changes

  • lol, maybe we would've seen the ringing if they didn't cut to the audience when he did it.

looks like it happened at 4:55

  • @chaOsMastaGuru I agree. If you look before, the table is clean. From 4:55 onwards, there are two decks on the table!

  • @Blundo007

lol, mate thats not a second deck, its the card case! do you really think someone with 40 years expirience leaves a second deck on a table when he shows only tricks that need one deck?

  • @chaOsMastaGuru

indeed, I knew he rang in the cooler, I just didn't see when. :/

  • wow he was great!!!

  • is he... a wizard?
