This bitch tried to kill my grandma when my grandma was a college student. She went to Eva and asked for help so she could take care of the sick, but Eva didn't do anything about it and kicked my grandma out of her office. When my grandma was walking out, a college professor of hers put her arm around her and walked her out. He told her that if he hadn't done that, the 2 guys that Eva Peron sent after her would've made her "disappear"

I rejoice in all the attention Evita is getting.I have but one comment (in the form of a question) to make. What is Eva doing in the Duarte tomb at Recoleta? She was never a Duarte (although she used that name as her professional one for her acting career on the radio).I believe she deserves HER OWN resting place.
@GRAYBARN1 Her sisters were conflicted with Peron family and did not let the plans of burying Eva next to Juan in San Vincente happen. Also the reason Eva is resting among her family members at Recoleta is because her sisters were fed up with turmoil the corpse went through and decided to never again bring any sort of fanatical attention to it. I think it looks like a wax model of her & not her real body. If you notice her hairline looks very artificial like its a wig. No one has a such a str8 hairline like that. It also looks glued on. Im wondering if they buried her & had a wax figure on display. No need to worry about any decay w/that. People couldnt get that close so who would know.
Evita’s post mortem makeover was rather fancy. Hours and hours of work by a dressmaker, hairdresser, manicurist, makeup artists and what not.Her embalmed corpse was put on display for almost two year until the new authorities removed her and she went missing for 16 years. She was eventually found buried in a tomb in Italy. She was exhumed and flown to Spain, where her former husband kept the corpse on display on his dining room table of all places for a couple of years..................
@knutgordon You are right, she was after embalment taken to Italy as a deaceased italian widow under the name of Maria Maggio..but after 16years she was exhumed but not flown to Madrid, but taken by truck...this morbid cult of the dead is obviously something typically catholic.
@knutgordon my musical theatre teacher told me the story today, and she wasn't found in a tomb, she was taken to the tomb, hidden under a plain slab because of all of the riots that were going on because of Eva's death and so when they calmed down, Perons' wife after Eva ordered that she be brought back, Peron was dead when this happened. :s
Back in 1955, the junta that overthrew Peron was stuck with Eva’s corpse, which they didn’t want to destroy nor bury in Argentina. They moved her from site to site, surrounded by what included a few necrophiliac guards. Eventually her body was smuggled out and buried in Milan in place of an Italian woman who died in Argentina. Many Years after a high ranking official was killed by guerrillas, who refused to return his body until Evita’s corpse was returned to “the people”.
It's getting weirder. At this point, Juan Peron was 75 years old and married to his third wife, Isabel. In a odd domestic threesome arrangement, Juan and Isabel kept Eva's corpse on their dining room table where. Isabel combed Eva's hair every day and often--with Juan's encouragement--lay down beside the corpse in an attempt to absorb her charisma.
@knutgordon EGAD!!! OMG! I guess I have never loved anyone that much...I wouldn't do that for any man, I don't care how wonderful he might be...to comb the hair of his dead wife and oh, that's shocking!
.............His new wife was quite understandably less than thrilled by this, but allegedly used to brush the corpse of his former wifes hair in order to please her husband. Anyhow: The corpse was later shipped back to Argentina and displayed beside her by now deceased former husband for a while. Last known location of the corpse is a cemetery in Buenos Aires. Evita have not been seen in public since they double locked her inside a safe there in 1974. Pretty f*effed up stuff. RIP!
@knutgordon - He WAS that attached to her. I heard that some attendant or something tried to " have his way " w / Evita's corpse. After that particular incident she was locked in her family's crypt there.
@2Ryled - It looks like they embalmed her like they did Lenin. In both cases the people wanted a saintly image.
The people of Argentina loved her because she came from the same background that they did. & the Soviet state wanted to have a Soviet " saint " as an icon for the Russian state.
At any rate, I think a layer of wax may have been used, as well as embalming / plastination. & possibly a " stand in " for Evita's body. Juan Peron even kept it in his home, I believe.
lmao this nazi slut got cunt cancer - they propped her cadaver in some tar at an airport to take photos with-hence damaged feet. You will see this murdering slut in hell.
@TheStaticage01 Peron was well aware that his popularity largely rested on her appeal. Guess he figured that even after her death, it was in his best interest to keep her around. Read her biography. Among other interesting info of her corpse's journey is the fact that, long after her death and exhumation, Peron and his third wife kept Evita's glass casket atop their dining room table for a spell (safe to assume he was just a tad nuts).
@karenelisu Oh...its a "cult of personality" thing huh. I've got to be honest, I don't know much about the Peron's or Evita for that matter cept for the Madonna movie? I'll check out some more postings about her here on youtube tho. Thanks for the info-Stat-and yes you are right, keeping the mumified corpse of your own dead spouse on your dinning room table whilest youve moved on with a different wife only to maintain status and control of people you govern IS QUITE SICK! Dasvidaniya padrooga.
@TheEZPAXIIChannel Her face was cut and her nose suffered a blow that broke it and nearly shattered it off of her face. Her face and body were restored for Juan Peron's funeral in 1974, I believe, and she's remained that way ever since.
Once you 'sanctify' or 'deify' people like her then their corpses become almost public property and as a result will almost certainly never be allowed to 'lie in peace'! She wasn't a saint,in fact she was nearer to whore than saint,if the truth is to be told. But because she flung a few tickets at the poor so they could have shoes on their feet it's as if she'd saved the nation! She was only slightly less reviled than the English after a while! Yet here she is,now, almost a saint! It's madness!
This woman was the first social worker in the world, ... in just 33 years, died of cancer.
Long before the Mother Teresa of Calcutta, and Lady Di(They admired herPoor people in Argentina, have loved as anyone after his death, the military took power in a coup, abused his body and hid it...
@Wellington5392 They wanted to make her a symbol to keep Peron in power, but he was ousted shortly after his death and the new leaders did not wan this wife martyred, so her body mysteriously vanished for 17 years...
@henjokongo It's kind of a long issue to explain... You should understand the previous and contemporary social and political situation, and changes, in Argentina (around 1943-1952). When it comes to her personal qualities, she was a very tough and hard speaking woman (quite a shock in that days), she was also beautiful (politicians used to be old-quiet-rich men): on govt she worked from 6am to 3am next day, visiting hospitals, speaking in meetings, and attending common ppl claims personally...
@henjokongo She had been also a poor girl, with an unknown father (a scandal at the time for the ever-hypocrite upper-classes) who struggled hard and managed, after very hard times, to attain some popularity in local radio and cinema (remember it was the '40s) until she met Peron. She didn't know the terms "class opression" or "sexism" by theory books, she had experienced them personally and fought them with all of her energy. There are so many WRONG approaches about her...
@henjokongo the "Evita" opera approach (some kind of an extraneous mixup between "A star is born" - "Mefisto" and "Ten days that shocked the world") is maybe the most misleading of all.
@SparklingLovexoxo She was buried for a while in vertical position. All in purpose of faster damage of her body due to perforated coffin she was put in and the said unnutural position.
@SparklingLovexoxo I was just reading about this, Her feet and other parts of her body like her knees were rusting. Even after being embalmed but as the years go by the body starts decomposing, rusting, decaying..
@12billyboi She is the former argentine model, actress and later First Lady of Argentina in presidential term of Juan Domingo Peron goverment in between 1946-1952.
@Knock1225 You're kidding, right? He was no less the mass murder than stalin,as for Your remark about Me,I'd say it was more an admission of what You truly are Yourself. Communism,or more the Leninist version was more about revenge and mass control than about elevating the downtrodden masses. Lenin was behind many of the early mass murders in the early soviet era,and You're an idiot for defending him.I bet You think Manson is some kind of genius as well.
What about the corrupt & evil things this Government was responsible for.She was no Saint. To suggest that she was a woman of the 'people' is plain wrong. People have short memories! imho
@ar2014 The Peron Governments protection of NAZIS who fled Germany after the war. Also the notorious torture chambers beneath the main hospital in Beunos Aires, where the Perons opponents often found themselves.Total control of the media. Also the fact that despite most Argentinians were Very poor, Eva lived a life of extreme luxury. I could go on & on. These things ARE DOCUMENTED...Try Googling THE PERON REGIME.Im sure there will be some basic facts available that show my points!
@stevobath 1- peron also gave protection to jews, 1/4 of the worlwide jew population resides in argentina.
2- speaking of tortures, the army had tried to overhtrow him many times, so it was kill or be killed. (i would do the same)
3- eva made emphasis on human rights, ( she made a law allowing the women's suffrage) she loved her country, but it doesnt mean she has to take off her clothes and sleep on the streets...
@ar2014 Jews in ARGENTINA do not account for 1/4 of the worldwide population. There are currently about 150-200'000 jews residing in ARGENTINA.According to your' figures, theres only a WORLD population of about 800,000? Well theres more than that living in NEW YORK! PERON GOVT were sympathetic to AXIS powers until it became obvious that AXIS POWERS would lose WW2...Even if EVA was a woman of the people like all those in power they take on the said advantages it brings while still preaching!
@stevobath 5- LA REVOLUCION LIBERTADORA put an end to peron's government, and THAT was the start of 18 years of dark times for democracy and it was THEN when many innocent people were tortured and killed (not to mention the most violent and ruthless dictatorship of argentine history, the one in 1976)
6- if peron's government was so bad, then why the 80% of the total current argentine population is peronist?
@ar2014 To suggest 80% are PERONIST is somewhat misleading. There are so many factions that ally themselves to PERONISM but certainly dont believe in everthing PERON stood for. There are some interesting figures available online which can explain much better than I can the intracacies of this.GOOGLE- % of PERONISTS IN ARGENTINA & you will see plenty of articles. Most written by political analysts & the like!
it's a shame none of her movies survived. iirc juan peron had them all destroyed.

@lilmonster7437

@knutgordon On the dining room table? That's plain WEIRD.
skeetereze 4 months ago
@skeetereze
It's getting weirder. At this point, Juan Peron was 75 years old and married to his third wife, Isabel. In a odd domestic threesome arrangement, Juan and Isabel kept Eva's corpse on their dining room table where. Isabel combed Eva's hair every day and often--with Juan's encouragement--lay down beside the corpse in an attempt to absorb her charisma.
knutgordon 4 months ago
@knutgordon EGAD!!! OMG! I guess I have never loved anyone that much...I wouldn't do that for any man, I don't care how wonderful he might be...to comb the hair of his dead wife and oh, that's shocking!

stealth1692 4 months ago
.............His new wife was quite understandably less than thrilled by this, but allegedly used to brush the corpse of his former wifes hair in order to please her husband.

@stealth1692 that was a myth spread by the opposition didnt you know?
ar2014 3 months ago
@2Ryled - It looks like they embalmed her like they did Lenin. In both cases the people wanted a saintly image.
The people of Argentina loved her because she came from the same background that they did. & the Soviet state wanted to have a Soviet " saint " as an icon for the Russian state.
At any rate, I think a layer of wax may have been used, as well as embalming / plastination. & possibly a " stand in " for Evita's body. Juan Peron even kept it in his home, I believe.

TheStaticage01 6 months ago
@TheStaticage01 Peron was well aware that his popularity largely rested on her appeal. Guess he figured that even after her death, it was in his best interest to keep her around. Read her biography. Among other interesting info of her corpse's journey is the fact that, long after her death and exhumation, Peron and his third wife kept Evita's glass casket atop their dining room table for a spell (safe to assume he was just a tad nuts).
karenelisu 6 months ago
@karenelisu Oh...its a "cult of personality" thing huh. I've got to be honest, I don't know much about the Peron's or Evita for that matter cept for the Madonna movie? I'll check out some more postings about her here on youtube tho. Thanks for the info-Stat-and yes you are right, keeping the mumified corpse of your own dead spouse on your dinning room table whilest youve moved on with a different wife only to maintain status and control of people you govern IS QUITE SICK! Dasvidaniya padrooga.

TheEZPAXIIChannel 6 months ago
@TheEZPAXIIChannel Her face was cut and her nose suffered a blow that broke it and nearly shattered it off of her face. Her face and body were restored for Juan Peron's funeral in 1974, I believe, and she's remained that way ever since.
VanitasxAura 6 months ago
Once you 'sanctify' or 'deify' people like her then their corpses become almost public property and as a result will almost certainly never be allowed to 'lie in peace'! She wasn't a saint,in fact she was nearer to whore than saint,if the truth is to be told. But because she flung a few tickets at the poor so they could have shoes on their feet it's as if she'd saved the nation! She was only slightly less reviled than the English after a while! Yet here she is,now, almost a saint! It's madness!

I do not understand why the "First Lady" of any country is important.
How weak are Argentinian leaders that a woman has to lead?
I do not agree with preserving bodies like that. This woman should have been buried, or cremated.
The body is just the machine your spirit is in while you are here in this "reality." The machine can break down or eventually wear out and die.
That is just an empty body. The spirit of this woman left long ago.

What made her so popular? I read something on Wikipedia that she was an advocate for the underclasses.
henjokongo 9 months ago
@henjokongo It's kind of a long issue to explain... You should understand the previous and contemporary social and political situation, and changes, in Argentina (around 1943-1952). When it comes to her personal qualities, she was a very tough and hard speaking woman (quite a shock in that days), she was also beautiful (politicians used to be old-quiet-rich men): on govt she worked from 6am to 3am next day, visiting hospitals, speaking in meetings, and attending common ppl claims personally...
lunacomputacion 8 months ago
@henjokongo She had been also a poor girl, with an unknown father (a scandal at the time for the ever-hypocrite upper-classes) who struggled hard and managed, after very hard times, to attain some popularity in local radio and cinema (remember it was the '40s) until she met Peron. She didn't know the terms "class opression" or "sexism" by theory books, she had experienced them personally and fought them with all of her energy. There are so many WRONG approaches about her...
lunacomputacion 8 months ago
@henjokongo the "Evita" opera approach (some kind of an extraneous mixup between "A star is born" - "Mefisto" and "Ten days that shocked the world") is maybe the most misleading of all.

These things ARE DOCUMENTED...Try Googling THE PERON REGIME.Im sure there will be some basic facts available that show my points!
stevobath 9 months ago
@stevobath 1- peron also gave protection to jews, 1/4 of the worlwide jew population resides in argentina.
2- speaking of tortures, the army had tried to overhtrow him many times, so it was kill or be killed. (i would do the same)
3- eva made emphasis on human rights, ( she made a law allowing the women's suffrage) she loved her country, but it doesnt mean she has to take off her clothes and sleep on the streets...
4- peron raised the country
ar2014 9 months ago
@ar2014 Jews in ARGENTINA do not account for 1/4 of the worldwide population. There are currently about 150-200'000 jews residing in ARGENTINA.According to your' figures, theres only a WORLD population of about 800,000? Well theres more than that living in NEW YORK! PERON GOVT were sympathetic to AXIS powers until it became obvious that AXIS POWERS would lose WW2...Even if EVA was a woman of the people like all those in power they take on the said advantages it brings while still preaching!
stevobath 8 months ago
@stevobath 5- LA REVOLUCION LIBERTADORA put an end to peron's government, and THAT was the start of 18 years of dark times for democracy and it was THEN when many innocent people were tortured and killed (not to mention the most violent and ruthless dictatorship of argentine history, the one in 1976)
6- if peron's government was so bad, then why the 80% of the total current argentine population is peronist?
ar2014 9 months ago

lunacomputacion 8 months ago
@ar2014 To suggest 80% are PERONIST is somewhat misleading. There are so many factions that ally themselves to PERONISM but certainly dont believe in everthing PERON stood for. There are some interesting figures available online which can explain much better than I can the intracacies of this.GOOGLE- % of PERONISTS IN ARGENTINA & you will see plenty of articles. Most written by political analysts & the like!
