therefore altering, what their larger demographic of fans perception of what their music should sound like, the record companies opinion of what it should sound like/potential sales it should make, and eventually, the overall sound of the music. You sorta have to be huge to turn down Twilight, as in capable of shrugging off a large paycheck because you still have other large paychecks coming in. I'm not sure Battles is really in that position. Having seen the movies (don't ask) I can say that sonically they're a great fit. I doubt there will be a huge influx of Twihard Battles fans from it and it will be a small improvement to the film, lol.

ok i just discovered this band, ive listened to most of the songs posted....very good technical band , if u dont play an instrument u might not get this music, please dont judge them because they did a soundtrack for a really lame movie.......besides it gave my girlfriend who likes twilight and hates my music a reason to trust my musical judgement....lol

I think Twilight are shitty movies, but honestly, if i were in a band and they asked me to use one of my songs i'd go for it, it gets your music out to a larger audience and gives a good amount of cash to finance both my life and my music.

Not a fan of twilight either.. but they have had some of the best musicians of our time (in my opinion) write music for them (Battles, Thom Yorke, Muse, UNKLE etc). So people who may have otherwise been stuck listening to things like (dare I say it) Justin Bieber are being exposed to awesome life changing music. Shouldn't this be a good thing?

While I have to admit I was a lil cautious at first that it was for Eclipse, it is a good song. Don't see how it would fit with the movie though (I will admit I read the books, while I wouldn't call them great, they are better than the movies).
