SDPD violently arrest Occupy San Diego Protester 1-7-2012

Spitting onto or at someone is considered battery or attempted battery... you spit on or at a cop, you're gonna get arrested... come on people, open your eyes. This OWS protest is all wrong, the police are the not the enemy, it's the greedy corporate pigs and banker thieves who are the enemy. Violating city municipal codes and yelling at cops isn't going to achieve anything.

Its an open and shut case - this is an assault: the officer was not trying to defend himself, was not arresting her...it's assault. If USA is not a police state (ie wearing a uniform allows you to assault people) the guy needs to be charged. The evidence is clear. If he was in my police department, I'd sack him,

Citizens need to demand the immediate firing of this officer and the others who arrested this woman. She clearly was doing absolutely no harm and the office acted because he simply did not like what she was saying. This is a clear civil rights violation.
