  • So the speeder climbed up and over that sprung frog rather than pushing through it?

  • Kind of. It needs weight to open it but since the flange wheels are smaller it started to climb over it but opened enough to allow the wheels to pass through. It was similar to the other video showing the same thing.

  • what was the average speep you were goin in the speeder?

  • Thats a good question. There are conditional stops for potty breaks and the like, usually 2 each way. Each operator runs differently. I would say round 20mph average.

  • wow thats preaty good

  • Fun lol Ha Ha.

  • Did all the Camas railway bar this bit in 2003 with MOW - the half moon trestle, and the climb up, was something else!

  • I dunno, It is 3 different railroads using the former trackage now. This segment is the best of the 3 in terms of heavier rail, I believe 132lbs in some places.

  • Don't recall seeing any on the run up to Cottonwood - but then we didn't exactly go slow on the way from lewiston to Spalding either - saw plenty of 132 on the St Maries over Benewah Trestle. You are making me want to come back!!!

  • what are all those little cute speeders on there for?
