  • Runners at 1st and 3rd with no outs. And 4 seconds later, 3 outs. Won't see this often.

  • Anyone else flinch cause they thought the ball was going to hit them?

  • youtube.com/watch?v=58rMGW8c1QE

  • @Geldour But if he caught the ball for the first out, the runners would have to tag up at the base they were at before the pitch. So therefore he could have gotten a force out by hitting 2nd and then tagged the other runner.

    But cool story bro

  • Well done, fellas!

    Out 1: Batter strikes out!

Out 2: Guy stealing second is tagged out

Out 3: Guy advancing to home is tagged out

3 outs, 1 play, triple play

  • @Wurmo No man triple, second base got out (first), home base got out (second), then it was the end of the play so the other guy was automatically out.

  • double play

  • Thats sucks dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats nice but ive done a triple play on my own caught at 2nd by me hit base to get another out then the 1 running from 1st tagged by me

  • @andrew123coxta

Yes, but I assume you weren't good enough to make it to the major leagues either.

  • @Nerdicusable no i didnt make it + im only 15 years old still a bit young but i do hope to make it 1 day :)

  • @andrew123coxta lol cool story, but lies. if you hit the 2nd base, that gets out no one. as you have already got the batter out (so the 1st base runner isnt "forced" to run) so.. best case is you caught it then tagged a guy, so 2 out, you cant of possibly got 3 out on your own in the situation you explained.

    cool story though bro.

  • @andrew123coxta Uh - Huh .

  • Double Play.

  • @homeygeorge101 how is that a double and not triple play?

  • @kittbaseball22 - 1) Strike out 2) Tagged the runner at second base 3) Threw the guy out at home. TRIPLE PLAY.

  • edrtfyuijjubcwecfgvbnvdeedxcvbnj... sorry had to clean off my jizz off keyboard

  • no mames se la maman

  • is that strasburg pitching?

  • You guys are idiots. A foul tip is a dead ball. Never does anyone have to be "tagged out" after a foul tip. The only time a batter has to be tagged out after swinging and missing is if the catcher drops the 3rd strike.... Thats called a "strike em out, throw em out double play." The runner going home was a bonus

  • HUH? you are the idiot, only the ump can call play dead or the ball leaves field of play(HR territory is field of play, ground rule double an exception). A ball is NOT considered foul unless the umpire signals FB,until then the play is live. also,a player CAN catch a tipped ball at ANYTIME and ANYWHERE(incl areas considered outside the FOP) for an out,as long as the umpire has not called the play dead... if a foul tip is caught inside batters box it is called strike(3 strikes is an out)

  • it's never stated that there was a foul tip ,,, the batter has to be tagged out in that case

  • Should have bunt it

  • That's not a real triple play

  • @Catcher981 Technically it is considered a triple play

  • @Catcher981 It is, they got 3 outs after 1 hit (foul).

  • @chazflyz it has already happened look it up

  • Only thing left is the unassisted triple play.

  • Is this the Minor league?

  • when my Grandson was 12 years old , 3 years ago, he made a solo triple play, that was amazing....this is no lie......he was playing shortstop...

  • @kiddtut let me guess, he tagged a runner then ran to second and after that threw it to first?

  • @kiddtut wtf how old r u and y r u on youtube?

  • @kiddtut that is not so unusual in little league level ,,,, but nice play

  • @heettreet ......thank you. heettreet,,,,,,, that's his 2nd solo in lit. leag.......His batting avg. was 373,this past year , playing junior Am. legion ball @ 15.... led all his teammates.....not bragging, thanking God... see ya, later heet.....kiddtut ,here...

  • wow. thank you holiday inn commercials

  • What team were they?

  • wow. Nice play, those boys were on their game.

  • Now thats what I call 3 up 3down!

  • It's fucking plays like this that get me stoked and fuel my love for baseball!!

  • @lhhbuck77 your retarded

  • @ihhbuck77 put the rule up for all to see then we'll believe u. till then its still three vs one

  • @ihhbuck77 and @NYYROCK - in this case you both happen to be wrong. In baseball rules a foul tip caught by the catcher is just a foul ball unless 1) it is over the catchers head - then it is a pop out or 2) It is on the third strike - then it is a strike out. In this video the batter has struck out on a third strike foul tip caught by the catcher.

  • @philb021987 That's not quite right. A foul tip is a LIVE BALL, and not a foul ball, which is a dead ball.

  • Siccckkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a dumbass, the guy running to second should of got in a pickle so the runner from third could score.

  • Very nice.

  • brilliant

  • SWEET!

  • Nevermind im wrong

  • This looks like the Spokane Indians but I can't get a good look at the logos on the jerseys. But the field is just like the Spokane Indians field.

  • Wow im speechless

  • I agree not Yankee good but good

  • Not yankee good lol

  • wait!, it was foul :(

  • @gamereviewsfully yeah but he caught it so hes out...dumbass

  • @MrGrizzify it was supposed to be a joke, im not stupid

  • @gamereviewsfully wow what a good joke.

  • @MrGrizzify thanks :)

  • @gamereviewsfully anytime

  • @gamereviewsfully No it wasn't. But if it was then the batter would still be out cause the catcher would have caught a foul ball.

  • @lhhbuck77 it was just supposed to be a joke.

  • @gamereviewsfully Oh. If it was a joke then what would it mean then?

  • @lhhbuck77 well the catcher would be a little ticked off... i dont really know -.-

  • @gamereviewsfully Oh.... I see. And you don't really know? Well, ok then.

  • @lhhbuck77 a foul ball caught by the catcher has to be over the catchers head when he is standing for it to be considered an out otherwise its just a strike.

  • @NYYROCK No, that's an out, it wouldn't count as a foul ball or strike, it would count as an out. It's happened to me before and people on the other team that we were playing. It's an out. In slow pitch softball, if it's not above the catchers head then it's just a foul ball but not in fastpitch or baseball.

  • @lhhbuck77 so you think that on the first pitch of the at bat the batter swings and fouls it barely by glancing it and the catcher catches it like it was never fouled at all its an out and not simply strike one? im sry but thats not true. im literally named my account after baseball i would know.

  • @NYYROCK It doesn't matter if you named your account after baseball or not. Knowledge of the game is in your mind, not your youtube account. I've seen it happen. If the ball is tipped or barely glances the bat and the catcher catches it, it's an out. I used to think the same thing you did, but then it happened to me when I was up to bat and it's also happened to people I've played against. Don't believe me? Ask your coach, or better yet, the umpire.

  • @lhhbuck77 will you look it up yourself. your getting ridiculous. you used to think it correctly until some

terrible umpire made a mistake. if you are not playing high school baseball yet and havent had a decent umpire than just believe me already. i watch baseball daily.

  • @NYYROCK I'm the one getting ridiculous? You don't understand. I play high school ball, and I spent my entire childhood at my brother's baseball games. And I've seen this happen more than once. Go ask an umpire, then get back to me on it.

  • @lhhbuck77 No, the foul tip is not out unless it is the 3rd strike. The foul tip is a live ball, so the catcher may pick someone off base or catch someone stealing.

  • @deepcosmiclove No, you're wrong. If a foul ball is caught, it's an out. Even if it's a foul tip and it's caught, it's an out. Once it's caught it is a live ball, you're right about that, because once you catch a ball and make the out, you can get a double play. In the video, he didn't tip it, it's a strike out and then he got out 2 runners who were stealing.

  • @lhhbuck77 That is not right. A caught foul tip is not out. It is out only when it's for the 3rd strike.

  • @deepcosmiclove I've seen it happen in games. I've seen a batter with 1 strike on them then they tipped a ball that the catcher caught and it was an out. A foul tip is just like a foul ball.

  • @lhhbuck77 That might have happened in a small town game where the umpire didn't know the rules. Just look up the rules. Google search foul tip. A foul tip is a live ball but not out unless it is the 3rd strike.

  • @lhhbuck77 Successful troll is successful.

  • @chriscancer13 That makes no sense.

  • @lhhbuck77 Major League rules state that a caught foul tip is only an out when at a third strike. It's kind of like when a ball is bunted on the 3rd strike.

  • holy shit i play second and i wish my catcher could throwdown like that

  • @MrVeeeg thats why he is in the majors ;)

  • @semalFN1 which catcher?

  • Comment removed

  • everyone who thinks this is a 'double play' is an idiot. the batter clearly walks off in disgust after striking out. there's nothing to dispute

  • Yea, technically they wouldn't call that a tripple play. It's still pretty cool though!!;)

  • @jayhawksfan08

It's absolutely a triple play. Any instance where you get 3 outs on 1 "play" is a triple play. When the batter strikes out, the ball is still live, so you can record the next 2 outs in the same play.

  • awsome!!!

  • cool!

  • That's not a triple play that's a strike out and both men were caught stealing which is only a double play still amazing though.

  • @TheLPlayer1 no its a triple play

  • @chipperfan52698 You must not understand baseball then

  • @TheLPlayer1 Did you not see 3 outs on the play

  • @chipperfan52698 I see 3 outs you retard, but in baseball standards that is one out because of the strikeout. Then two CONSECUTIVE outs by steals. Double play with a strikeout out. 3 outs. Hooray.

  • that was raw!!

  • WOW THATS AMAZING

  • if you tag, do you tag with the ball or do u just have to hold the ball and touch the player with anything u want?

  • @Jeroeniboy u have to tage them with the ball but u can tag them with ur glove as long as the ball is in ur glove

  • @Jeroeniboy with the ball

  • sickkk!

  • are those the red sox?

  • ahh yes, the old strike him out throw him out.... uhh throw him out

  • @tommya123 that is sad when I was five I knew what it did ( he got out)

  • ive never watched a baseball game in my life too but surely for someone to be "Out" the person catching the ball has to at least be close to the base to tap it ?!? they guy on erm second base just seemed to rub the guy that slid in?! someone please explain

  • nice

  • never watched a baseball game in my life.. but I'm still impressed with that speed

  • Not even a baseball fan but I gotta say, that was poetic....

  • dq7gt9f3rohjac[0[gn4rhq sorry i was wipeing the jizz off my keybored... that was amazinggg

  • @macbeast2849 haha last video i saw that comment on was charlie sheen banging your mom

  • @littleNINJAassassin dude thats hott afff!!!!! but my moms dead good job

  • Slow runners!!!!

  • Wow

  • the only thats could happen is if he struck him out too plus all that..... did he strike him out??? plz reply :D i wanna no plz

  • @222yankees222 Yes, it was a strikeout.

  • @222yankees222 yes the pitcher striked him out ( 1st out ) then the catcher threw the ball at two and then he tagged the runner ( 2nd out ) then runner at 3rd base tried to steal home the 2 base man threw the ball back to home and the catcher tagged him out too so tats a triple play :)

  • @222yankees222 yes he did. read the description (:

  • @222yankees222 read the description. yes he struck out

  • @222yankees222 no it was a double play... it was a chopper to 2nd and he tagged the guy out and went home with it

  • @757morgan22 no it was a strike out, throw out at second, throw out at home

  • i did one of these with my team. except we got him at third and i was throwing an insane slider

  • Of course that counts as a triple play! Doesnt matter that one of the outs was a strike out. 3 outs were recorded in a single play before the next pitch was thrown.

  • I have only seen this done with 2 outs.... It's called a "strike 'em out, throw 'em out" usually followed by double play! It's a really rare play, but its a triple play. In order for this to happen, you have to keep the ball in a single play, while you strike the batter out, a runner has to be in the process of stealing a base, in this case you had 2 runners wanting to steal a base, and one of them was going for home XD which they are told not to do at all. But it happens.

  • wow that was hella good

  • I believe a strike-OUT!

Counts as an out. And adds to triple play ;)

  • @THEOMGProduction

    Exactly ^^

  • THAT IS A DOUBLE PLAY STRIKE OUT DOESN'T COUNT

  • @shawty2094 yes, it does. A strike out is an OUT, period.

  • dod he die?

  • what team is this

  • Tell me how that was a double play all u non-triple-play-believers.

  • thats a dam double play

  • @felixleowner do you not notice the strikeout

  • @Smallpoxproductions yea i did but a srikout dosent cont for a play

  • @felixleowner yeah it does

  • @00davedave ... I like how you think you know what your talking about. You made me laugh by your stupidity

  • @00davedave think before you comment he struck him out then tagged the guy stealing then got the out at home

  • In baseball, a triple play (denoted by TP) is the rare act of making three outs during the same continuous play.

    Not a triple play.

  • @00davedave someone doesn't notice the strikeout

  • Holy shit

  • are you all retarded??? triple play.. struck him out, throw him out at second, throw him out at home

  • still 3 guys so triple lol

  • double play

  • @ILOVESOFTBALL43 strikeout+thrown out @ second+the play @ home

  • 1-2-4-2 for the needs

  • Actually, I would call this a strike em out double thrown em out, but still impressive.

  • pretty good and xBMTH13x that was a TRIPLE PLAY

  • DOUBLE PLAY!!!!

  • @xBMTH13x Strike out + thrown out at second + thrown out at home = Triple Play.

  • @joepod whatever. i didnt read the description

  • Now, how is that scored? Is it 1-2-4-2 or is it just 2-4-2?

  • 1-2-4-2

  • that was awesone

  • oh my fuk cake

    lol

  • that was triple play you dumbass first one was strike three and he throw it two second base and third in home ass holeee

  • NO way. Awesome.

  • that was double play!!

  • it was a triple cus the batter struck out

  • damn yo

  • nice

  • wow that was awesome
