I'm glad the leafs won in the end, but sadly I don't think there is a prayer for this season anymore. They would have to win all remaining games, and other teams would have to lose too many games. I love the leafs, but the GM change should have happened back when it would have made a difference.

This is a goal that every goalie dreads. Gotta understand the shape of a puck is not like a tennis ball where it has the same pattern of movement and then loses its momentum but still travels at the same angle! Its an object that if it bounces at the wrong angle, that thing can pop a different direction faster than a person can react. To hear all the jeers and insults about Toskala tonight at the bar was disgusting. PLUS... he WAS squared up very well with the puck, poor guy.....

If you saw it from the other angles you would understand that the puck didn't take a wierd bounce, it was coming straight at him, it didn't change direction until it hit him after he missed the catch.
