  • Maestro,I can clearly hear that you are strumming fewer strings with the thumb than your pupil who strums all the remaining strings each time. Are you strumming just the adjacent two so that when you get to the G string only then is the high E audible or do my ears deceive my??I cannot thank you enough for these wonderful tutorials which have helped my technique and understanding of Flamenco, beyond imagination.

  • @ToneDeafecation Yes friend the Alzapua is played only in a range of three strings and its explained here

  • Is Golpe the tap you are doing? If so, is the Golpe in sync with the metronome, in which case are you doing the Golpe on the upstroke?

    Thanks.

I'd like to mention it's really great of you to post these lessons, I am self-taught, so I've figured out a lot of flamenco by ear, hence I've made up my own technique to achieve the desired effect, however my technique has never done it justice. I'm sure all of your lessons will help a lot! Many thanks again.

  • @wildkofta Golpe means taping with A,

Just write me an e-mail to ( info@rdiaz.org ) we do an appointment and, I will gladly show you how the system I created to teach & learn through Skype works out exactly same way like the lessons one on one, because I have PDFs, support additional videos (from my private channel) and it is a very innovative use of technology that fulfills all personalized areas for all levels of students.

I just play in TV Malaga yesterday check it out!
