He was always one, two, three or four steps ahead of the defenders guarding him, and that was before he even recieved the ball. @dexOn22 Watch the interview they did to Jordan after that game, he said that he did it because of Sam Perkins, maybe Sam didnt try to block the shot but he still went up so Jordan, as a reaction, switched hands.

You guys are such Jordan dick suckers. Everything Michael did you said he did it better than every human being on earth. If you weren't so dumb you would see that Jordan didn't even have to do the lay=up, he had a clear view for a dunk, but he insisted on making a sick highlight. Lebron actually had to make the move. @williamomac No player will ever be like MJ ever again... league has changed, and so have the players! Jordan did what he did by going through players in the paint, dunking on 7 footers, beating hard fouls, and hand checks, etc, etc, etc... Nowadays, clear paths to the lane all day, red carpet style! NBA is watered down, and still the stars of today cannot do what MJ did... if a prime MJ was around today, with these rules? He'd average 50 pts a game! Guy was dropping 40 at age 40! Nuff said!

@BlaZiiNxIIxGuNn3R He needs to work on his off the ball movement. That's the most underated aspect of what made MJ the most complete and decisive player in the history of the game. He was always one, two, three or four steps ahead of the defenders guarding him, and that was before he even recieved the ball. Didn't matter if it was double or triple team, his movement and decision making was so quick and decisive, that it always seemed as if the defence wasn't ready or were out of position.

@BlaZiiNxIIxGuNn3R MJ learnt this at UNC under Dean Smith and developed his fundamentals before he went into the NBA. People think its cool to go to the pros straight from high school, but many players today lack fundamentals and IQ. Fundamentals is why Tim Duncan was one of the most dominant players of the last decade, even though there were so many more players who were more atheletic and flashy. Fundamentals got him rings and MVPs.

@rabejaona That's not true. MJ had won two NBA championships and Finals MVP at the stage Lebron is at now. As for the MVPs, Jordan was in the top 3 of MVP voting in almost every season of his Bulls career. He should have won it a few more times, especially the 1989 and 1993 season. Also Jordan had already won 6 straight scoring titles and a defensive player of the year award by the stage Lebron is at right now. MJ is in a different league so I don't think its intelligent to compare them

@Larsinyfammm No gurantees. What if he gets injured. If he stays healthy he will definitely have more chances to win that illusive NBA championship. But those performances in the finals were not of the level you would expect from someone being compared to Jordan. Magic and Bird as well. They knew what time it was when it came to the NBA finals, the greats do their talking on the court. You can't call yourself a king and not back it up. Hype talks, Jordan dominated.

Jordan did that in the NBA FINALS against the L.A. Lakers. Lechoke disappeared in his only NBA Finals appearance.... and he did this shot against Haddadi of the Memphis Grizzlies during the regular season... comparing this to MJ's shot is an insult to Jordan.

@bostonianbond007 uhm... I hate to do this but Lebron has 2 NBA finals appearances one, in 11'' and the other in 07'' against the spurs. I'm a mavs fan and we kicked Miamis ass but their is no denying the Lebron is a phenomenal player. heck with the big 3 playing together for a year now and getting to the finals, it's hard to say that they won't have another run at it next year and this time with more team cohesiveness
