Orite lads, me and my best mate (both 25 years old) start our trip in 4 weeks time, starting in L.A driving > New Orleans then flying to NYC. Was their anywhere in Oklahoma, Albuquerque, Armarillo, Memphis ect (Or anywhere along that route at all) that you would of liked to stay longer? Also how much was your standard Super 8 on the way? I Also take it Armarillo's not worth staying too long then?
Love this road trip.Have watched all four twice already one dayMy Wife and I will come over from New Zealand and do a road trip around the whole country.Have been to Americia in 2000 and traveled from LA and Sandiego by car and loved it even if it was a little scary on the freeway driving in what we would call the passengers seat (NZ) even more scary for my Wife who had the drivers seat with no steering wheel(NZ) LOL.Also flew to Sanfranisco from LA..
Thanks 73...I can't recommend doing this trip enough, you and your wife will really like it.
I did a solo trip to Disneyland on Day 5 and I liked it as well. I've been editing some wedding videos so I've haven't been able to complete Day 5 but I should soon.
Meteor Crater wasn't far off of 40 at all actually if that's what your talking about...only 6miles off the highway on their special road to get there.....trip was insane though, I'd do it again in a second
damn, you guys didnt get any video of cadillac ranch just outside of amarillo on interstate 40...i did this same trip you guys are on few weeks ago...cadillac ranch was a pretty cool stop for pix n stuff...
I loved it Tee. Absolutely beautiful scenery! My only disappointment was that you didn't wear any Redskin's gear driving through Texas. :) Great job man!

Guess you guys didnt stop at the Meteor Crater just past Winslow, AZ going west towards Flagstaff...that was def a sight to see on a road trip

We wanted to see some cool rock formations in AZ but from the visitor's center said it was far from Route 40.
Defintely would have like to see both of those landmarks. They sound pretty cool.

Coincidentally, Nick will take up the slack in the Skins department. He'll have a Portis jersey on for Day 4.
Thanks for checking it out, 53.

Thanks Judge...we passed both of those but I didn't put it in.
We wanted to go to the Car Ranch but we couldn't find the exit for it.

Great day 3 guys. Did you pass the giant Texas cross or the Cadillac Ranch while on the 40 or did you drop south before that?
