Yes, you need a helmet to fight (if yor're an archer youd don't). It's dangerous "sport" ;)

That armor is made of little leather pieces of leather (don't know english name of that type, sorry)

When you use the houses in winter it´s not that bad. As long as you prepare evrything before moving in. You have to heat the house through to get all the moist out. The whole team has to work for it! Cutting wood, keeping fire-watch and so on. If you know how to do, it´s quit comfortable. If you don´t know how to do, You will frezze your ass like hell... :-)

We take this very serious. We call it experimental arciology. We work very close together with the museums. So EVRYTHING you see on the video is exact copys from the vikingage. Remade in the same way the vikings did it. That is the whole purpose with the things we do. In a way the educated museum-people do the theories and we try in praxis and then we share our experience with them. So we all get a better understanding of the vikingage.
