Helen Keller had one and one received multiple metals during WWI. How many metals from war do you have? The only thing that has changed between the early 1900's and now is the idiots who abuse their dogs and the ones who don't know how to control them. Please educate yourself and don't by into the media propaganda.
It seems like no one agrees with the BSL, so why is it taking so long to get these laws or legislations overturned? It seems like nothing is changing or even about to change anytime soon.

In italy we have too bsl, laws that not allow to attend to certain public places, like beaches, parks; or an obliged insurance, and so on.
But it's inadmissible that somebody takes away from the owner his dog and kill him only because of the breed. This can happen ONLY when a dog (any breed, not only dangerous breeds) attacks a person or damages animals, never only because of the breed.
And this is the aspect of BSL in the USA that horrifys me.
I belong to the american rottweiler club. I have 2 rotts. I live in a town without bsl but have known about it for several years now. When my rotts were 6 months old my neighbor took me to court under the dangerous dog law. My yard is fenced. Dogs never out without someone here. We won, but my point is I called numerous agencies to help me defend my babies. Not a one would help. So now I do what I can myself. I make numerous videos about the horrors in this world, including Bsl.
I know this is an old post but join pitbullforum and connect with others in your area. when you see a pit bull or Rott give them your email so if BSL is proposed you can gather support at the last min. often, we don't stay connected and when the meetings are announced it is too late to gather people and tell them to attend.

This is exactly correct. It's not the family pets that are well loved that are in the news. It's the gang dogs. Even some "pit bull attacks" are not done by pits. They show pictures on the news and it's a lab mix or a collie mix yet they call it a pit because it will cause mass hysteria which is what they want.
