Just one minor omission - at the end where Backlund wins the title, I believe that was the first instance of Howard Finkel proclaiming a "NNNNEEEEEEWWWWWWWW champion," even though that inflection is generally associated with Hulkamania and later.
LOVED IT ALL THO U USED WWF ERA BUT WHAT WAS THE MATCH WHERE ALBANO HAD THE CHAIR I HAVEN'T SEEN THAT SINCE THE 80S PS LOVE THE COLISEUM VIDEO SONG NICE TRIBUTE TO THE OLD WWF
@SAMMARTINO68, according to former WWF employee Kevin Kelly, the "archives" are not as incredible as one might've hoped. It seems that even the great Vincent J. McMahon (so-called Vince Sr.) and his people did not have the foresight to save all the tapes and probably taped over many of the weekly bicycles as almost all of his peers did. I guess time will tell.
@wrestlingscout That's what happened to so many of the old classic TV matches - the affiliates broadcast them once and either destroyed them or erased them to save money buying blank tape. The promotions didn't have the foresight to make "safety" copies for their own archives, or perhaps they thought no one would be interested in viewing the footageat a later date. At any rate, the term "first class" is overused here on YouTube, but this is truly "first class". A great job. Thank you!
A fantastic history of what would become the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world. I loved how you used the old Coliseum Video music during the sequence at the end which covered the period right before the rise of Hulkamania.
@wrestlingscout thanks

when wrestling was good and Jr. still worked for his dad. Too bad he ended up turning wrestling into the lame stuff it is today.

@JKTube Thanks. For a while I was going to include 1984-2004, but wisely decided against it.
