  • Around 5 mins mull flicks his ashes in there!

  • Martin Mull is lighting a smoke with his coat over his shoulder! What a hoot! Bassomatic on SNL may have ripped that bit from this.

  • This Guy Lou is better than David Horowitz in Fight Back!!

  • Whats the name of the condition when everytime you post it makes you sound like a dick?

  • Martin Mull in great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible Life: Revised Edition) at amazon!

  • 3:38 -

lol- yeah, my eggs always came out lavender-

  • Phlleml, please realize how weird and naturally lobotomized Mull is!

  • this show is funny as hell.i like campy tv and this is a tent pitcher

  • Martin Mull has a naturally lobotomised condition in reallife where he can't get angry or yell. He admitted in a 1978 interview with Newsweek that he never yelled in reallife! Count yourself normal if you do!

  • What's the name of the condition where you keep posting on youtube the same crap about over and over again?

  • I wish people to realize how truly strange a guy Mull is. When my first reply didn't get a response from like Phllelm I reposted. Its not crap! I want people to know we mostly can't be as lobotomized as Mull is! BTW I have a new moniker!

  • This makes what, 20 posts on the same topic? I guess it takes a strange person to know one.

  • Adam, I do it so people will learn anger is ok! I don't care that much if you get it or not as long as others do (last I'll say to you)!

  • funny shit

  • i have several episodes of this series on a dvd and if anyone is interested i will sell for 5 bucks or maybe we could do a trade.

  • I remember in a skit like this Martin Mull tapped his cigarette ashes into the blender concoction, although I didn't see it here. I wonder if that's what the audience was laughing about on several occasions when there was no joke, but a close up of the sales guy. Mull deliberately lit a cigarette and seemed to be set up for it.

  • He does tap his cigarette ashes in the blender when he's putting in herbs. Funny stuff!

  • 4:59 on this video, but it goes by fast. :)

  • Thanks for posting. I loved this show. Both Martin Mull and Fred Willard played their roles to perfection.

  • These were so funny. We just laughed and laughed. Course sometimes we were under the influence a little, back in the day. But these were funny.

  • the audience members are great

  • Does ANYONE remember WHAT TIME the TV Land Kitschen aired, I know it was during 2002 and 2003, and on Fri and Sat nights, BUT WHAT TIME? Iknow it sounds wierd but I just need to know.

  • this is hysterical - gotta love it. Canadian Snake Root. Jeez.

  • I spoke to the drummer on this show, Colin Bailey, on the phone once and he was SO NICE!!

  • This is real entertainment, not the reality show junk we get nowadays.

  • "Fernwood 2Nite" 's Lou Moffatt was played by actor Lou Felder. He appeared on 3 episodes of the programme in 1977. - Breeding Athletes - Congressman Chambers - The Wonderblender

  • Very, very funny

  • one of the funnest show ever on tv!

  • Who is the fellow doing the Wonda Blenda bit?

  • More more more! This entire series should be re-released on DVD. A brilliant but cancelled series.

  • Somebody Should Do Something About All the Problems! b lghhkhkh

  • But wait! There's More!

  • Wow, what a blast from the past! That was when Martin was hot...not smoking hot, but just "hot".

  • Trevor,

This is a show that was satyrical of small town television from the Midwestern USA back in the 70's. Bleive me, I've seen shows like this and have known these type of people that they had on Fernwood 2nite.

I had a similiar reaction to watching some episodes of Spitting Image. I didn't find a lot of it funny because I've never been to England. Talented stuff in any case

  • yea i did a bit of research on it after i left that comment. i suppose i cant relate to it and that is an important factor for this kinda show but anywho thanks for the info!

  • Yeah, paying attention must be hard.

  • dude thats exactly my point, even though it was like meant to be prggresive comedy not gag comedy which i hate, it was not funny. i guess thats why british comedy will always be better =D
