Hi Djzach, I also have a version available which is compatible with the serato 2.1 features. Check out my youtube profile in which I've uploaded a video on my template. You will also find installation instructions and download files. This is free to use by anyone.
How do you map the toggle buttons in Osculator? Which value do I have to enter when I want to activate the Echo with one click, so that it indicates/flashes until I click for a second time to release the effect? thx
@defbensen i came across this comment while trying to figure the same thing out. hopefully u have figured it out by now, but if not (or if any1 else stumbles upon the same thing) what u need to do is set the value range for ur toggle button to be from 1 to 1. then the toggle btn works for turning on & off.
Join DJ Timo Dawson on facebook, he has a free layout available for Serato 2.1.
Full setup guide and template files. Just look for 'Timo Dawson' on facebook , just join the page by clicking "like" and you get acces to the Ipad Midi page with the tutorial.
This is how he is using it. iPad w/TouchOSC send OSC msg to Mac program called OSCualtor, it translates OSC msg to MIDI, then it goes to Serato, and you just map it!
So iPad(Touch OSC)>MAC(OSCulator)>MAC(Serato Midi IN)
This is one of the main reasons why I'm looking into an ipad. Is there any way to share midi maps so that people can just download a pre-mapped template? It would be nice to be able to create different layouts and trade with other users. Kind of how themes work on a computer or smartphone.
@bostownmassive I like to build my own layouts, so I use a lite application that converts the TouchOSC templates into Pure Data patches. Pure Data converts the OSC messages and translates them to MIDI just like OSCulator. The best thing about PD is it is FREE! Yes, you get a response 7 months later.
That is sweet. Can you label the buttons? also can you put as many buttons and layout as you want? Would love to see more on the setup with OSCulator. Thanks
is this availible on windows?!

why wouldn't you use the library page much?
that would be the one i would always use, scrolling and loading.
you would just need to add a pair of buttons for each decks load capability.
maybe an undo as well, cause that comes in handy.
nice work though, although switching screens might get combersome, but at least you know where your at.
cool
